I'm sorry, your attitude and map quality is simply representative of the rating I gave you. You seem to not care about the rating, but if you did, I would suggest you improve your demeanor and map-making skills.

I opted to just not rate you. So far from the new Snarkpit you haven't done anything to deserve a 0...nor have you done anything that I can see that deserves a rating at all. I'll stick with no rating from me for now.

You can't be rated 0 anyway.

Rugal says that the map you "all" hate so much "Rampage" is now in the SvenCoop mod as a offical map. He'd like to see you all try to do somthing of that measure.

Sven Co-op has never really been a mod noted for its exquisite maps... Not exactly the highest 'measure' ever. (There's some good ones, though.)

firstly, chances are you were rated poorly because of your attitude not because of your mapping ability. Secondly, It seems you used some1 else to say something for you. Why?

thirdly, Imo 90% of the sven maps are very poor, some are rather good. I havent played it for along time but as I remember there was a good one with crosswire or somesuch in the title.

fourthly, if it doesnt affect you. Dont react to it.

Ive had no qurrel with you up untill now, but it is a bit of a pointless thread.

You probably played some dumb custom maps.. The official svencoop maps are all well made. Including mine, maybe you should play the mod again.

I didnt bother dl any custom maps, I was put off by the official ones after a hefty dl.

+ one map afaik called horde, I remember that when it 1st came out. that was good fun. i'l admitt some of the origional release official maps were playable but when I dl a newer version it was an enormous dl & it looked like allot of maps were just slung in for the sake of it.

+ no need to bring up your own map again, nobodies commented on it.

Rugal/Desann - I don't see why you try to be angry all the time.. when you are civil I see you as commendable as the next member, even moreso in some cases.

As for everyone else, can we see this as a fresh start for Desann? I know I said this last time but there's always going to be grudges held - and I know in a lot of the cases after my plea it wasn't Desann starting any kind of animosity - simply responding to unfounded criticism.

As I said in the past, this argument "Desann Vs. The World" which people like to bring up is old, tired and boring. Let's all be a bit left wing for a while and judge people on their merits, not their cons - this goes for both sides of the argument. So please, lets not hear [i]any[i] more bad words on these forums in this age old fight. I'm tired, you're tired, so it's better for everyone just to chill out and use this site for what it really is.

Here here, this is the common sense you and I need to here more of. My one dream is a Snarkpit that doesn't need moral and moderator intervention - an impossible goal, but if we all work together then maybe we can go some way to achieving this goal in part? Rock on!

Nothing matters anymore, soon I won't be around here seeing as im becoming an official mapper for svencoop. You guys all want me out anyway, so why even bother with anything that complicated. MOST everyone here is an ego maniac and I really hate that. That is why I explode, and yes I know ive said this before. I have moved on to something bigger and better than this.

I hope there's no hard feelings between yourself and the people you respect, it would be a tragedy for certain arguments to bubble and ruin what was for the most part a good time and learning experience.

Me? Im perfectly happy! Im getting straight A's in one of the best schools in miami, I have a loving girlfriend and I would take a bullet for her. I am now an official mapper for one of the most popular mods every.. Just got a new video card. Getting my car soon.

Well, I guess everyone has an ethos to live by :smile: I'll close this thread before it spills over into angry arguments (mainly because I cant be bothered to mediate and moderate such a scenario).

I'm sure those who will miss Desann will find it in their hearts to say their farewells, and the rest who want to start flames? Dont bother!
