the image posted doesn't have to be of your car, especially if it was sold some years ago, but post a pic that very closely resembles it..

My 1st car was when i was 17, it was a mint condition 1966 Chevrolet BelAir.. maroon exterior, and white vinyl interior.. like this one User posted image

I have the same exact make, model, and year, except mine is silver. It's efficient and doesn't use a lot of gas, so I don't care how it looks, also everything works (except the passenger side autolock ....)
Got it when I was 17 (1999) for $8k

80's Honda's all look the same, except the 80's Accords had a greater amount of life then the 80's Civic (which is what's in that picture).

In other words, if you have an Accord, be glad it isn't an 80's Civic lol.

Yeah, because that's not illegal or anything .... (it is here anyway. Since any cracks in your windshield will compramise the structural integrity, making it easier to shatter defeating the purpose of the 'shield')

Yeah, it would have been kinda neat if it didn't require you to fill it's antifreeze tank every 2 days due to the fact that it ran incredibly hot... And that it decided to make incredibly HUGE clouds of smog at certain times (Yes, I was that guy with that car that made people cry.)... And that NONE of that extra heat ever came into the cab, so it was always freezing cold...

And I'll be damned... it is a civic... Whoops, my bad.

I own a 2001 Civic now. I love that car. Still runs like the day I bought it.

Well if your asking whether or not it would pass a safety check, I doubt it. But safety's only go when buying or selling a car. Other than that

Yeah, they're great. They're also made to crush easily as to protect the people in the cab. However, that isn't always a good thing as a 10m/h front end collision can look like you slammed into a wall. Also the front bumper is made to be pushed down when hit, as if you couldn't tell by looking it lol.

It'll take me some time to find a pic, but if you can picture a tripped out red 92 toyota celica, then you got it.

And yes civics fold like paper, but they are hell-o-fast.

My Olds would have crushed one of those things in a head on collision. That's what I look for in a car, the ability to completely destroy the opponent.

It's illegal to have bullbars on new jeeps in ireland because of that. I think you might be able to get away with the small ones which don't extend around to the sides though.

I don't have a picture of my first car, but i searched online and found some on google... unfortunately the sites no longer seem to have the pictures up, so the google image return page will have to suffice. http://images.google.com/images?q=96+intrepid+maroon&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search

Basically that, a '96 maroon intrepid. Bought it used (still fairly good) in '99 and I'm still with it. While it mostly just sits in a parking lot during the school year, I've still found it to be fairly hardy at the whole not breaking down thing and expect to have it for a few years more.

now if you can imagine better front bumper, and sides the you got it, I spent all summer working at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk mopping up hurl and lung butter. but it was worth it, and I still got it.

What's wrong with Civics, now? It gets me where I want to go, doesn't cost a fortune, runs for ages, and gets reasonable gas mileage. So I may get folded inside one day when I hit a squirrel, big whoop. I can live with that.

Oh... Wait..

And, "lung butter?" What the hell is lung butter?!?

not to brag or anything but my friend took me for a ride in a ferri enzo, went about 210 mph (sorry to all you european people for not using kmph)
A friend of mine has Fierro, what a clunker lol. The sad part is, once he gets it fixed (puts in a new engine). He's going to sell it because he doesn't want it anymore, but if he actually kept it and got it in REALLY good working condition it'd be worth a lot of money. However, it needs quite a bit of work lol. Such as, it probably can go 210 m/h (130km/h) but it would be safer to ride a derailing rollercoaster
