I don't entirely get what you mean by "i don't have the SKY texture to replace with the original texture". What do you mean by original texture?

Anyway, as a quick summary of what to do to get a sky...

Surround the area you want the sky to surround in brushes, and then select all these brushes and cover them in the texture named "sky". You can choose what sky is displayed by going to map -> map properties, and entering the name of the sky you wish to use in the environment map option. You can find the name of the skymap by looking in the gfx / env folder found in your natural selection folder, and looking at the files there. If, for instance, you wished to use the sky made up of the files night_up, night_dn, night_bk, etc, then you would enter "night_" in the environment map option in VHE.

If the texture wads you are using don't seem to have a "sky" texture, then you may want to add the default half-life wad, hl.wad, found in your valve directory.

you definitely need to add the halflife.wad if you're only using the NS textures. Then you can use aaatrigger, clip, and sky, all of which are important.

Or snag the hlbasics wad from DOD which only includes those utility textures...

I hadn't marked it as an answer actually, so they couldn't have marked it as correct.
