The second one is also good. First one sucks.
I got quite the opposite opinion. The second is simply driving at
insane rates of speeds and jumping around unrealistly, and listening to
crappy head banger music. The first actually moves slow enough that you
can
enjoy the sceneray!!
Personally, the first one is the king. Realistic, yet not shabby,
asortment of cars, great shiny car effect (which is strangely missing
from the second , and from what I've played of the 3rd demo

) and for having crashes where nothing falls off your car, there the best thing I've seen.
And the music is just... perfect.

Aren't head bangers normally seen as metal heads? If I'm right in
thinking this, the second game does NOT have head banging music. I've
not played the first game, but I've heard it has less cars and courses,
and less traffic, which I would have thought would remove from the
game. The crashes in the third are miles better than those in the
second, and if nothing falls off your car in the first surely it looks
a bit, well, empty, during the crashes?
Bio, what sort of racing game was that? I might be able to suggest
other games similar...but I guess if its 89 its probably one of those
car strafing games like Outrun / Lotus Turbo Challenge
