I have a old POS digital camera. Capable of taking 32 pictures at regular and 16 at high resolution. Its one of the first cameras guzzling down 2 AA bateries with a compact flash card of 8mbs. Comes fully equiped with a flash too

Personaly, what I would look for in a digital camera, is of course the quality of the pictures, then how many I can take. And preferably a ion batery pack of some sorts so I dont have to go through 50 bateries every week.

I think you'll have a winner there Jon

All my textures have to be hand drawn in wally. Woopie.

Of course, I COULD take a picture with our family camera, which is about 17 years out of date :sailor: and scan them in to my comp.

I just lack the generic brainpower to make textures, luckily there's always people like you to do it for me, puwahahahaha!

Digicam, you say? Only two. An old Canon and a shiny new $1000 Nikon. Spose we kinda have an excuse though, a parent needing the new one for her work (thereby invoking the nice tax-free status on said camera...).

A while ago I thought it would be cheaper just to get a crappy webcam.....and yes, while it was cheaper, it obviously doesnt work for gettin textures! What a fool I am.

Combine them and take poorly-zoomed pictures with bad colors. Just some free advise...

Well, I don't have a digicam although I'm free to use my father's one. I never really use it a lot though.

I have
  • A cheap webcam with horrible picture function
  • A pretty cheap HP Photosmart 120 cam ... pics look good, as long as the subject doesn't move
  • A bloody expensive Sony Digital Camcorder ... pics look great, video
looks great, but the crazy transfer-to-pc program compresses the thing
a bit ... color isn't that good.

My dad is a real photo nut. And although I can't really brag because it's not mine...

Canon D-60 owns. I've only messed around with it, and never tried to make any textures, but it is really nice.
