www.elysiun.com had a lot of tutorials and help for blender. I haven't used it in ages now that you mention it. To be honest, I was never that good. Nice interface though

Two tomatoes, some water, sugar and salt to taste. Turn the knob, and off you go!

... what do you mean "how do you use a blender" ???

Put the s**t in. Press the speed you want ... press some sort of stop button ... eat/drink whatever you made.

If you don't know what the words on the blender settings mean, look them up.

Blender 3D I have heard is a wonderful modeling program and its free. I still would like to get my hands on Zbrush though. That program kicks so much ass.

Blender's interface works about as well as a dead squirrel, though. Beware.

i actually started working with blender about a month ago for the "robotics" class i'm taking. Blender isnt only a decent modeling prog but you can set up python-driven sensors, controllers and actuators in your models and put them in a physical "world" with gravity, friction etc... its set up as a portal towards making a (basic) game.

if you read the manual via the 'documentation' link on www.blender.org you should be able to get somewhere. if you have a specific question i can always try to help you out. and yeh the interface takes some getting used too

I installed it today and had a run through the first of the tuts earlier tonight. Learning the basics of navigating the 2d and 3d screens was enough for one sitting.

I had a look at it when it was first released too, but I didn't try to get into it because of my monitor being too small at the time. Now I've got a 19" monitor alongside the old one, used in a dual screen setup. Which means I can keep the tuts open on a full screen.

I'm not sure. I was running it at 1600x1200.

I think when it was first released it needed 1600x1200. Then a version to run on a lower res was made available, but I don't know how low a res it will run on.
