apparently external linking is not permitted, perhaps you should post only the link.

I am not aware of any entity that'll allow you to simulate flowing water. It's difficult.
I use the same model in my current map, but it's not flowing water. I just pretend that it's off.

I believe what you need to do it "make" water in the water holding
areas. But as for flowing water, that has to be a sprite or brushes.
(back to HL1 way).
They didn't make any kind of water past "sit there" water. So you have to get creative.

you could set up the water in the bowl, then make an env_splash to
simulate the water falling, as for the falling water... try a small
brush around the areas where the water will fall and tie that brush to
func_percipitation. I'll see if I can try it out.

unfortunately the particle system does not seem to include a way to
create your own particle types as this would probably the perfect way
to simulate water droplets flying upwards and then landing in a pool
and dying.

Env_shooter might be useful, using a blue coloured sprite for the water particles.
It won't be very realistic, though.

If HL2 still has it then I can use func_conveyor for the water going down the sides its just a matter of making the umbrella effect on top where it all comes out.
