Thats not the same room sloth, hes merely saying its the same
architectural style. I think your hall (before you do detail) you
should work on scale. Your hall is completely wrong in my opinion. Also
might wanna work on some kinda effect for the roof- maybe using
particles?
I thought it was the same room, lep said it was.

Dust particles, I haven't really looked at that many CSS ent's yet.

It is the same room, in real life. They've CGIed it up in the film.

According to http://www.visitchristchurch.net/harrypotter.htm :

"The Great Hall was replicated in the film studios to create Hogwart's Hall."

So while it was based on christ church, the hall in the movie is just part of a studio.

Nice work so far!

As for the sky, you are going to put rain in it?

So how will it look e.g. would it have rain coming from the wood or will it have some sort of sky texture?
