Wow, you went to China for wedding? It must have been a very good friend or close relative.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I did fly to Australia for a friend's wedding.
I was my brother...
well half brother, but we have the same dad, so you could say he is just a brother-of-another-mother...

This is a more comprehensive collection of pictures from the wedding, if you're interested.

The first twenty pictures or so were taken with my brother's Cannon digital Rebel. Nice camera huh?

[edit]: I just realized that this was my 1000th post. Yipee!

She could be any one or all of the races bud, personally I don't see the relevancy. As to where she is "from"? Most likely the United States.. Methinks however that her ancestry is somewhat east of New York City. :heee:

BTW, missed you ol' man.. You should post more often. How is it down in sunny Peru today?
sunny peru? it's cloudy.
missed you too, orph. you should answer on msn more often.

I'm still trying to guess which one you are in all these Satchmo, I don't see any at the alter, and you have so many brothers or relatives. I'm guessing this pic-

Satch-

I'm back after about 3 months to tell you "Congratulations" Your wife is very beautiful. If i didn't know any better, I'd say she's asian! (ASTERIX!) I kinda have a thing for asians, but not your wife because that's just plain disrespectful to say that, and I like you and I dont want you to get all pissy at me.

I hope you have a great life and that you don't have marital problems like my dumbass brother.

Also, off subject but maybe of interest: I may be starting my Pre-med next year. Kickass.

In the Asian spirit, I wrote you a Haiku:

The warrior bows

ancestors smile down on him

as he proclaims love.

That's about as asian as i get... have a good one!

Hey, thanks for the Haiku, Nikelplate.

And good luck on your pursuit of the M.D. It certainly wasn't an easy road, and I am glad that I came out from the other end of it intact. So many drop out in the grueling process.

But then again, I believe mappers in general are more intelligent and more motivated than the general population. So I think you definitely have an edge over most premeds.

And along the same line, I think mappers have enough sense to keep a marriage together.

Ain't I the optimist today.

Mappers rule, you're the man. Where are you gonna go for the honeymoon? someplace nice, I expect. Let me advise against West Plains, MO. lol. It's been too long away from The Snarkpit.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Here is the exact text I read on the big day:
I *****, take you *****, to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I may not be a knight in shiny armor, but you can count on me to be by your side when we storm all the castles together. You are my guiding light when I get lost; you are my true North. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward.
The storming castle part is an insider joke between my wife and I. She always says "Have fun storming the castle" before I leave for work. The True North bit was from a movie--"Message in a Bottle". I know it's a lame movie, but I like that line. The rest of the vow was concocted from various inspiration I found on the internet.
