To be honest: I connect "Hal" with the character "Hal" of "Malcolm in the middle". I like this character more than this evil computer. I can't help it.
Never try to be perfect - just try it and make the best out of it

And THAT'S the diffrance between me and HAL.
God got tired waiting all sunday for the world to compile and finaly had it.
On the Eight day, god created func_details, and he saw that it was fast.

Man, what the hell has happened to the Half Life mapping community
lately? Every forum seems to be filling up with stupid ass threads. The
mods need to crack down a little harder me thinks.

We should have left HAL to do this thread tbh, I think this is pointless and should be deleted.

I would just like to say, to all those vindictive little n00bs who are attempting to give me a shameful reputation, and attempting to 'level' the playing field by boosting their ego... GET A LIFE!!!
P.S. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all."
A very wise quote.

HAL,
I think the problem here is your complete unabashed posting style here at the pit, considering you are a new guest. You don't seem to have any problems creating a new thread for the slightest little issue, which in turn, kind of demeans the posts in general. I mean, I saw 4,(or was it 5?) posts for several insignificant little questions within like a day. Questions like "do you know this guy?" and other such nonsense will get you flamed pretty quick here. Try to limit your posts to more pertinent questions and more interesting subject matter.I hope this helps.
PS Re-flaming long time members will result in disaster, I promise.

What I find hilarious is the 3rd and 2nd threads from the bottom. "Official Joke Thread" then below that.... "Joke." ...... I mean cumon! If the HAL computer is so good, why doesn't it have text recognition or search functions eh?!
