See if anybody can figure out whats going on here:
Just a few minutes ago, I stood up from my computer chair with a big breath of... Yeah... And all of a sudden, I got that blood rush to my head, and I lost all control of my body for around 10 seconds.
During that time, I do believe things were somewhat twitchy, eyesight included.
The feeling I experienced was similar to that thing that occasionally happens where you just have a flash and forget everything that just happened... Like a 'you just fell asleep, and woke up hours later' type of feeling.
Strange, eh?

I never understood why it's called a headrush? Surely when you stand up too fast, it means the blood pressure in your brain suddenly drops, and so the brain doesn't get enough oxygen, and you half pass out? If more blood went to your head than normal, wouldn't that just make you think faster?

personally, i think a big hunk of THC busted loose and flowed to his noggin
head rushes, can be cause by low blood pressure, and/or low blood sugar.. neither are good things.

dont joke about it Orph, youre probably closer to the truth than youd like to think :/
persistent marijuana smokers/smokers in
general are more likely to suffer from the phenomena. i took it as a
warning to cut down, and hey presto, weird headrushes are almost nil
now..

I have a friend who smokes far too much of that stuff for his own good (never touched it myself, but that's just personal preference) and he's always getting ill recently...that a side-effect too?
And yeah, he gets the headrushes

i sometimes get what some of you are talking about if i stand up too fast after squatting for too long. being a smoker, then i suppose i'm more susceptible to this than non-smokers, but the instant cure is to drop back into a squat position and try to get up again, slowly.
but what fizzi says, he reminds me of one of my mates years and years ago. every now and again he would take what looked almost like an epileptic fit after taking a big breath of the same air as fizzi. eyes rolling around inside his head somewhere, whole body twitching, unaware of what was around him. it usually took a few minutes for him to recover, and he could never fully remember what had happened either.

lol, i hate these, not happen that often except when im in assemblies when everyone goes to stand up at the end and due to the fact co2 is heavier than air, 300 people generate an auful lot of co2, especially in a confined space.
Normally, everything goes purple, then i feel like your about to throw up, but dont.
btw, i dont smoke anything. never happened at my pc.

Well someone suggested that it could be a petit mal seizure, but I doubt it because I knew what was going on, had consciousness, and remembered the whole thing.
Also, during that whole thing, my lighter somehow went from my hand when I stood up to my pocket.
I'll just get my mom (A nurse) to check it out and see if its anything big. She said it was like a mini-stroke and that its nothing serious, but I want a check-up for it.

If you kill someone by making them laugh, is it murder, or man-slaughter?
Because you did have to ponder upon the joke....

I'm pondering over whether thats a serious or rhetorical question...
I would say no, because you can't really litter the Earth with natural objects... It would be like accusing a tree of littering a forest because it dropped its leaves.

Oh, I see. I got that, just wasn't taking it into account for the overall question. Meh.

Depends on what the rock really does ... if you miss ... no problem
If it makes someone's head look really bad afterwards ... you got a problem.
