Gay UT2K4

I cant play longer than 2 or 3 minutes without it minimizing and I have t go back in. Giving the AI plenty of time to kill me. Anyone know why it does that?

what make it so you have to minimize? Locking up? Graphics problems? what?

I play it a lot and I've never had or heard of such a problem.

Um, you don't have a logitech mouse that has an 'alt-tab' button on it, do you..? That might kick you out.

Tried closing all those evil thingers in your system tray? I had problems with HL minimising when windows messenger was loaded.

Scan for spyware/viruses.

Heh its not spyware, I dont alt-tab, and system tray is almost empty. No MSN, no AVG, no nothing.

The game doesnt lock up either, because while its minimized, the AI is still playing, and when I get back, Im either dead, or dying.

I never had this problem exactly.
But
the last time I ever played UT2k4, my computer froze and windows
decided it was a very good time to destroy my boot.ini file as well
as corrupt my user profile (which apparently makes it so you cannot
enter the system through windows, which is retarded). I would get
nothing but the blue screen of death.

I fixed it by going into
some sort of recovery mode through the installation CD used a fixboot
program, THEN logged in as Administrator, created a new user, moved
my old user's stuff over (from the desktop and such) and deleted the
old user.

Not that you all needed to know all that
information.

I had this same problem, I just removed the key entirely :biggrin:

Perhaps you could just not hit the key? Or are your fingers so fat that you mash four keys at once? I bet they have special typing wands that could fix you right up.

lol that makes me remember one time on irc, this guy typed several
paragraphs in a channel, and didn't realise til afterwards that he had
his fingers one key to the right of where they should be, so while he
was looking out the window he was typing gibberish ... also happens
that was quite a big guy, so he got payed out for his fat fingers

that little anecdote was probably the least funny and least relevant thing, ever. enjoy :/
