Hashbrown, all the Maddox-esque manly posturing doesn't really work. Plus throwing the word "faggot" around wont win you the "5" rating you desire, at least not around these parts, and at least not from me. Additionally, I just noticed the text below your avatar reads "Open ur mind, and shut ur mouth!" hmm.
I know you were trying to be funny, and I agree that sometimes people can get too depressed about the silliest things (from our perspectives), but I'm probably just as sick of hearing people bash "emo" as you are of seeing them on Conan.
Live and and let live, to each his own, and a hundred other fitting idioms.
Also, Doc... I like Fall Out Boy and I don't have Buddy Holly glasses or a Tshirt with Mao or Che Guevara on it. But even if I did (or you did), it'd be alright with me.

I hate threads that center around negative feelings. I know, lets play the GLAD GAME! List things that make you glad! It can be anything, even little things, anything that makes you glad
I'll start:
Good science fiction
Sleeping in
A well-designed video game or level
A comfy chair
Nailing every note in a song spot-on
Now YOU try

Sometimes it's just necessary to exec lolspin.cfg and spin in spawn spamming "lol spin  " in chat till someone kills you. Then once dead start spamming alternately "8====DO-:" and "8===)-:" until the round is over, then say "8====D~~~(-:" 4-6 times when the new round starts and run around with flashlight strobing.

I thought blunts were cigars with pot inside? And a spliff was pot in rolling paper, like a cig?

A blunt is cannabis and tobacco rolled into a cigar.
A spliff is cannabis on it's own rolled into cigarette rolling papers, so it looks like a cigarette.
A joint is cannabis rolled into marijuana papers and looks like the typical joint, with a tapered end and a twisted front.

I LOVE BRIGTH EYES.
don't get me wrong, I don't care who wears what. Let me put it this way, I eat meat, some people don't eat meat. If someone tells me not to eat meat because it is wrong, I ask them what they think about all the little animals who die in the crop combin at harvest.
Do what makes you feel good, but don't think it makes you any better than anyone else.
Sure thats easy to say, even now I know for a fact that just by having that frame of mind I am and always will be better than most of the people in the world who would ever look down on me. Which then inturn makes me NO BETTER than them, which makes me a parodox.
Thats why I love my title: Insecure Narssasist.
so lets recap, I don't have anything against "emo" hell I don't think any two "emo" people are the same, and thus emo can't be a catigory to lable people. What I do hate is faulse Identity that is crammed down the head holes of teens and kids.
Think of it this way, 100 years ago a wooden horse toy was hand made, no two were the same. Now that same wooden horse is mass produced, one is no diffrent from the other, there is no IDENTITY if "your" wooden horse burns up in the fire its no big deal now because you can buy its clone. Identity can not be mass produced.
Go to Old Navy (I shop there and hot topic) and look for a stack of pants that are "pre warn" if you flip through them, they all have the same hole just above the seam of the right front pocket. THAT is why I hate "emo"
I am kinda fond of "Dance Dance" but if I had to choose I'd put "Land locked blues" (bright eyes) on my iPod.

I really liked that song about the kid with the stick who shoots the singer dead. "If I walk away you'll walk away" or something.
I liked it. What's it called?

I like that song a lot. I could listen to the album Transatlanticism by Death Cab over and over as well.
I really don't enjoy female singers though. I think part of it is I like imagining I'm the one singing or playing in the band or whatnot. Or at least, when a guy is singing about missing a girl I enjoy that better than a girl singing about missing a guy.

I hate it when people don't give contemperary music a chance. I mean "old" music is great but most of it has 30 years of fliter so only the BEST of the time reaches us, there is a great amount of good music being made right now and some people just won't accept because they are too engrained in the past (many of them I find think that just because they like old music [younger people] they think their taists are better than normal people)

If I go to a live show, I don't want to get in fights, I wanna hear music.
I tend not to mosh, it really just ruins the fun. I went to a System of a Down concert, musta been the only 15 year old there not starting fights. Waste of time.

Its times like this where I am glad that I am having connection issues. It takes me a very long time to look at each page (with the constant disconnecting)
I looked at the last page of this thread and am glad that I didn't start from page #1.
I concur with Master Gwil's sentiments. Glorifying the things he says will not gain you much in life.
The best things in life, aren't things.

You know what I HATE
CSS!
You're lucky if you can find a server that ISN'T playing dust/dust2/office, then you have check to see if those 14 players are bots.
If you DO find a server playing another map, and it HAS real people playing you play untill a hacker pops into the VAC2 server and forces everyone to leave.
Then if you find a non dust-BOT free-hacker free server YOU get banned for "hacking" or saying "this map needs some more color its too white"
and your back to square one.
I hate the CSS community, I used to go to the same server every day for almost a year and hang out with cool people and really have a good time. Now its just a chore to play the damn game. Everyone seems to be in cal or some kind of lame FUNLESS clan deal. You ever see those people play? I did a pug (scrim with random people) and if you miss a shot or don't do JUST the right thing these people will bitch you out hard.
I hate 90% of CSS players, *uk them.

i have to agree with gwil, fighting is just stupid, i have never once been in a fight, i've wanted terribly to hit someone but i have never seen the appeal in giving pain or recieving it
"why can't we all just be friends"

I'd say WoW players need to learn it's a game before CS players.
