ive been really quite down lately tbh, Everything weve looked at has been s**te. Recently my dad agreed not to take as much money from us & just let me work to pay it back so our budget has risen a bit.

Love the interior with the wooden doors (I know doors generally are wooden - but they look wooden  ), and the beams on the ceiling.

Best of luck

Remember to ask about the neighbours! But I think it looks nice! Nice size bedrooms etc. I think, that by law, any known problems have to be disclosed if you ask. So make sure you ask. (I'm not entirely sure about that though).

Ive just heard, there are 3 offers on the table now

It will probably go to the person in the strongest position, Fortunately we have an investor wanting to buy our house so there is no chain. Thats a pretty strong position, but we'l just have to wait and see.

Im getting rather worried now

hang in there Korny....house hunting is one of my least favorite things to do in the entire world....the market here is not nearly as cutthroat as i imagine it would be in england, and i'd rather build em than listen to my ole lady fuss and whine about it....but in the end, she gets what she gets.....keep the faith bud....

Doc B.. :dodgy:

EDIT>>> ya know, the more i think about it, i think i'd rather take a beating than go house hunting.....

korn, try to remember, a house is a house, just a material item.. its what you make of it that counts..

now a home, thats something special, and a lot harder to create, or find for that matter.

i live in a white trash 3 bedroom 2 bath wood frame house, nothing special about its looks, BUT when people come into it, they feel comfortable and want to visit.

houses on the other hand, people visit, sit on the edge of the furniture, and are fidgeting the whole time, till finally they make excuses and leave.

find, and make a home, forget what it looks like.

BTW, good luck my friend, on whatever you like

I know lads, thing is. This isnt too bad an area aswell & chances are il be ending up ina rougher area no matter what, I would however like to go here as I can train back to norwich quite quickly.

To make matters worse our buyer pulled out yesterday removing our good position. So much for that then, bastards!

why do you sound as if you must move soon?

i mean, buying a house is a big deal, to rush it is suicidal at least.

if i were forced to move before i was ready, i would put everything in storage and rent a motel room for a time.

You know, the first time I saw he house I'm in t this exact moment (I.E MY home) was when I was moving in. I think, to make a fairly broad statement, that to Men, a house is Bricks + Mortar, but it is more of a home to Women. Just speaking from my experience. In fact the first time I lived on my own, I let my Girlfriend choose it for me. Obviously, thats not to say it's not important what house you get if you're a guy but I think Women feel more as though a house is a home than Men do.

I gotta admit Korn, I don't Envy you, speaking as a person who has moved 8 times in the Last two years it ain't pleasant! I think Getting Married and Having Kids are also high on the stress levels, and also Changing Jobs, and getting divorced. Except for getting divorced, I've done them all in the last year! (Hence I have been fairly quiet around the net)

Havent said anything for a while. anyway, the small cottage in heathersett is still on so far & a surveyor is coming round our house today in under an hour & I presume the survey was done some time last week on the heathersett place.

I may be gone in about 3 weeks into temp accomodation, then in that for a month until the final move. So if I dissapear in about 3 weeks you know why. I probably wont have the net for at least a few weeks after that, so probably 2 months'ish il be gone.
