Interesting concept, but the frozen lake looks strange. I think the color should be more blue.

And there isn't a lot of cover for those poor sniper targets running down below.

22 FPS ?
You have my sympathies. :*(

about the screens, 2 things.
1) nice file sizes. I am most pleased. :)
2) are they supposed to be so bleached out? Is it my screen doing it?

Frozen lake color looks good to me. Some of the rock texturing looks a bit off though.

Satchmo, it was a stock CSS texture :P
And these are bots for heaven's sake :D Let them run down the alley if they want with no cover whatsoever. Trust me - there is lot of cover when you know where to go.

22 FPS? oh no, it just varies and I was that unlucky to have it going down so fast :D not to worry, the map renders fast and has no lag if you have better comp than mine :P

And for your second point, underdog, yes, they are supposed to be like that. Afterall... what do you see if sun is shining STRAIGHT to the snow, eh? :) and especially when the sun is bright.

It looks very nice, extremply easy on the eyes (thank God!).

Some cracks in the ice would make it look more realistic though.

I'm liking it so far and I think a one off building would add a nice touch.

It could do with some rocks exposed at ground level, to lessen the strangeness of the big rocks with no snow on them.

I like the theme and it looks well, though it feels a bit empty from the screenshots. Nice useage of those dead HL2 trees bytheway.

I am sorry but it has gt to be my monitor settings. The snow? Thats what it is? Looks like sand. Very distinct beige coloring.

Since it must be my monitor, forget my comments.

The no snow on rocks comes from the ruddy HL2 rock texture and I am not that good at texturing to retexture it :( Otherwise I would have...

Just a suggestion...I think snow would suit your map quite well...I mean actual snowing...

Are you still mapping for that mod by the way :P

I played this map some time ago. It's original idea to making islands covered snow. I think wooden bridge is also looks well and that bombsites... I can only tell "good job". Rocks uncovered snow is making more colour pallet, what diversify this map. For people, who like runing with sniper rifle it is good after standard aim maps.
