Map Description

Released: July 2001

My largest released map to date and also (of my releases thus far) the most complex. Layout is a bit too loopy, but architecturally I think I got a pretty good recreation of the original Black Mesa feel.

OPERA Version 9.64

Here are the errors I see.. the page is all white with a text, and like the graphic of the cat servers and snark.

Warning: include(styles/sp_black/config.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/snark3/public_html/index.php on line 585

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'styles/sp_black/config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php') in /home/snark3/public_html/index.php on line 585

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/snark3/public_html/modules/latest_maps_fp.php on line 23

I'll try to work up a screenshot for you.

Thanks (and to Niborious who also mentioned this) - fized, along with a couple of other issues.

Unfortunately I can't replicate this issue:

Could you possibly let me know which version of Opera you are using and which OS you are on, as maybe there is a bug somewhere. Thanks

I don't know if it's a bug or not, but on the beta version of the site, the images for the map spotlights were set to load randomly from their assortment. Now they load the same images every time. I liked that feature, can you bring it back?
Implemented.
Fixed a problem with the 'users online' system that was causing incorrect user ids to come up on the online users list.

Apologies for the trouble.

This login issue will also be the cause of the "Upload validation failed" message when attempting to add a new map.

I'm not certain what could be causing the issue, but I have a feeling and have made a change to the database that will hopefully resolve the problem.

Please let me know if things are ok from now on.

Anyway, I'm having problems changing my avatar, it won't change.
I'm fairly sure this is just the browser caching the image, as it happened to me too.

CTRL+F5 to refresh your browser's cache

This happends everytime and i didn't make spelling errors in my username or password.

A feature that let's you stay online would be nice too though.
Hmmm, strange, I'll let Larchy or someone else help you on that one, works fine for me and I stay logged in also.

Anyway, I'm having problems changing my avatar, it won't change.

Edit:

It seems it will let me upload this animated gif image but whenever I try and upload my proper avatar (jpeg, 128x128, 19kB) it reverts to an older one I used to have (same thing but with a Christmas hat).

I made the change for the latest maps a while ago, but I never coded it in for the latest maps - it's always been that way m8!

I changed it for the latest maps and was just waiting to see if anyone mentioned it before applying it elsewhere... can add it for the spotlight no problem!

That php error on the map pages is an issue I'm now aware of - I haven't fixed it but have hidden the error message.

There are a couple maps I come across that have a php error at the top of their page:

http://www.snarkpit.net/index.php?s=maps&map=2885

http://www.snarkpit.net/index.php?s=maps&map=3196

-And there are some others, but I don't remember them...
