The map environment is set in a futuristic silo, transformed for deathmatch play. 'The map looks and sounds like a real place, and plays differently to traditional killboxes'.

Many hours have been spent developing a deathmatch map that looks more realistic and detailed than maps of old. NextGen features new HD textures courtesy of texture artist Philip K, who provides free not-for-profit textures. NextGen moves away from traditional square killboxes and introduces a multi-environment arena, based on cylindrical shape and transitioning-platform, which transforms the environment at the flick of a switch. NextGen returns with the traditional lift platforms seen in killboxes, and uses water to add an extra element to the gameplay.

This deathmatch map beginning in end of July 2002 and make bsp file in end of September 2002, i have decided to release this bad map, 11 years after, my first and last try to make a decent map and never finished (maybe one day), with all noob errors making maps, like the skybox around the map (hehe no leaks, very not cool trick), making bad polygons, you can see my first two archs tests in the map never delete them, no theme map, this map come directly from my brain inside worldcraft. But some parts are cool i think, and you can find some secrets hidden teleports.

Half-Life 2: Episode Two Dewdle's Prison Map

NOTE: to play, load ep2 and enable the command console in advanced options in control. Click the tilde key "~" next to 1 on your keyboard and type "map prisonmap", hit enter.

This is a small (10-15min run, 20 if you are very slow) HL2 Ep2 map I made a while ago involving a prison escape. It is basically all action gameplay (shooting), though it does have some smaller elements of strategy towards the end with the major battle sequence.

As it stands I'm not sure if I can continue it, though it would be great to receive some feedback anyways. Any suggestions welcome. (I know of the lack of a 3d skybox in the one section, and the random appearance of the HEV suit in another :) )
