If you go to peru, I was wondering if maybe you could mail a rock from Machu Pichu to me. Or maybe Asterix can do it. Also, If you've got any of those andean mummies laying around, I'll take one of those too.
I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

Perhaps but, this is my travels thread fellas.

My PM works and believe it or not I am still in the need for the privacy of him.

I am aghast at some, and in adoration of others but the primary reason was privacy and just maybe he served his purpose.

We'll see, something is cooking on the back burner and perhaps will finish soon.

Sunday morning and should be back by your house by Monday afternoon. Sorry I can't stop on the way up as the delivery is hot and needs to be there ASAP. Since I just got home tonight, and need tomorrow to get ready to leave, that leaves Sunday for departure and thats cutting a fine line.
I need your cell number again since you only sent your home number.

Since no one seems willing or is able to determine the routes taken upon my runs, I will start posting the approximate routes for you to determine if you live along them somewhere.

If you do, and are willing to meet up someplace give me a shout.

Route from my house to Bismarck N.D.

Tulsa Ok to Cincinnati Oh.

My house to Bismark is ASAP.

Bismark to Tulsa is my own time. Like, whenever I get'R done. So, I will be leaving my house about 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. I should get to Bismarck around 10 a.m. Monday morning. I should arrive back at Omaha around, 12 hours later.

Assuming all goes well. If not.. there is always next time.

Funny? I'll tell'ya whats funny. A series of events during this last run to Tucson.

1st off, Roswell, New Mexico is freaking huge. I always pictured it to be a two-bit town in the middle of nowhere. Well it IS in the middle of nowhere, but its huge.

2ndly, I found no signs of aliens. No signs of crop circles. Hell I saw no signs of crops, let alone rounded ones.

3rd, I stopped at a Subway sandwich shop to get a salad for supper. I asked the person behind the counter if they had any ranch dressing that wasn't low fat since a salad is pretty low fat without insulting it with nasty tasting dressing. She looks at me and says "Watching you figure are you?" I say "Why not. Its sticking out there so far everyone can see it so I might as well too"

Anyway, I had a great run.

Time/duration is dependent on distance/weather/traffic. On average I am gone 3 days for a 1,300-1,500 mile, one way trip. (2,600-3,000 miles total or 4,684 kilometers- 4,828 kilometers)

For those whom are interested, I drove a total of 93,814 miles last year. Thats 150,979 kilometers to you metric nutters.

I do deliver new busses, to not only schools but to dealers all over the United states. I sleep on the bus at night, while I am in possession of it, and either sleep in my car, or get a motel room if its to cold to do that.

I average 900 miles per day in the winter and 1,000 miles in the summer.

I get cranky if I have to drive more than 5 hours... I don't know how you do it Orph.

You know what's funny? The other day I was driving with my mother
and she said something like "I wish trucks weren't allowed on this
road, they're so dangerous!"

I immediately disagreed with her, and basically stood up for truck
drivers because of all the times you've done the same here on
Snarkpit. It was a strange moment of online forums creeping into
my daily life.

I'd like to apologize. Yesterday I was tired from just getting in. Tucson is a fair piece away. Anyway, I was looking on the wrong line of my spreadsheet. The actual total for last year was 129544 miles. (approx. 208480 K)

I was very sleepy.
