Guys its not that hard. What we should do is have a simple request system on this thread. Admins will randomly decide (server admins, not here) on what maps etc will be on the server that week or whatever. The admins need to post at least 2 days in advance the map rotation.

This way, every week or so we can do different things- certain custom maps one week, classic maps another, etc.

I think the smaller classics can be included. Since its only 4 vs. 4 we'd need the smaller ones. Namely Stalkyard and Snarkpit. :heee:

I'd play Stalkyard only if given the chance. Its still my favorite default map.

FFS!

My Internet has been shutdown yesterday. Therefore im unable to maintain the server, upload maps, prepare map packs and whatnot. Internet should be back in a couple of days. Until then, Orpheus is on his own. Sorry.
Keep in mind though, if the server crashes, i won't be able to start it up again until i get my Internet back.

Well, to me its a new thing. Snarkpit has a bad habit of assuming that everyone knows every little thing. Then when we compare notes, we find out thats not even remotely true.

This is the first time since 1999 that I have done it. I might not be the only slow person here.

Case in point, I am showing Asterix how to use the longjump bind. He just got it working.

I just bought, what I think is the last surviving new copy of Half-Life 1 in the state of Arkansas.

That makes 5 copies I have here. Sadly, in the pre-steam days, I had 3 copies that I loaned out to people here.

Since Steam, I had to buy two new copies.

Its not that really. I just cannot seem to find another medium to get some enthusiasm going.

1) I am so in need of practice.
2) We have some amazing players out there.
3) TWHL plays better with maps stockpiled. Snarkpit plays better with maps less stocked.
4) Did I mention, my lack of skill?
