Had a great birthday this year. Wife took me back to the Grand Canyon. Spent a day sweating buy the views were still as fabulous as last time. My opinion, the clarity is better in winter, but I'd rather have a t-shirt on than a polar suit while there. :heee:
As for my new place, there is no internet available save satellite and I am unwilling to fork out the 300 bucks at present. There isn't even an option for 56k, so I cannot even test my resolve to NOT use it again. :/
I have been however working to fix up the old site. I now have approx. 1.5 acres fenced in for the horses. I also now have a yard, save no grass but a yard none the less.
My gardening skillz have been tested and proven worthy. I now have a nice spot tilled and planted.
Thanx guys for remembering to post. Except for my mom, no one outside my household remembered. Odd that.. I always call them.
Anywho, this is a library connection and my first time back online since I moved. Hope all is well around these parts. I have not the time however to seek out any of the threads so, I will have to take your words for the validity of the sanity.
Gots to run guys.
Luv'yas lots.
Jon

The second pig does edge it slightly, I agree. It's one of my honest life ambitions to own a pig, or rather several pigs as they are extremely social creatures. Perhaps i'll get one as a birthday present!
Also, Paul O' Gradys dog "Buster" > Beedogs!

Regarding pigs, and their ownership by brits, I am forever reminded of but one movie:
You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a
chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the
heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the
piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you
don't want to go sievin' through pig s**t, now do you? They will go
through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the
job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm.

Being a "programmer" means, pretty much, you just hack out code. What I enjoy doing far more is designing. Implementation is an inevitable aspect, but it's by far the least interesting portion (well ... besides preparing documents).
Taking an idea, molding that into a problem that needs to be solved, then designing the solution and, finally, implementing it is a far different process than coding some piece of code that is part of a much larger entity that you're, frankly, un-aware of. The difference between the two is like the difference between a car designer and an assembly line worker. One pushes new ideas into the field (maybe the car metaphor breaks down right here. I hope you still get the idea) the other complains about wages and break lengths.
Using Nintendo's hardware is a very minor idea that I had. I haven't talked about any "real" game idea's I've had online at all.
