A bit late yes, but still a great movie. I just saw it last night, and I love it. If you havent seen it yet, go out and buy it. Not everyone will like this movie though.
I cannot wait for Kill Bill VOL.2

The most impressive part of Kill Bill is how Tarantino managed to make the overwhelming amount of style be pretty coherent with the story rather than having it branch off and become abstract. It's a shame he only used to song on the trailer only once, and in a bad spot

Yeah, in a lot of action parts where some music was starting to play..It just stopped abruptly. That seemed kind of annoying to me, and sometimes even bland when the fights came on.

the music is like that to give it more of a 60/70's feal, which is what Tarantino wanted.
the most noticable bit is when she's getting into the truck, the camera angle changes and the music go's mid beat.
bit over done, but i liked it.

I really need to get the soundtrack to this movie..that song at the beginning, goes like "he shot me down, shot me down", is a good 'un.

Well I downloaded it and it is NOT what I was expecting by the description "catchy" I'm sure it works in the movie, but not to my tastes as a stand alone song.

The good song on the Kill Bill Soundtrack is track 10: Santa Esmeralda - Don't Let Me be Misunderstood. So awesome.

I loved Kill Bill, taking that I'm just as big of a fan of all those genres and styles as Tarantino is.
I'm just glad it was better then Jackie Brown. Also, if you didn't notice the anime sequence had animation direction by Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Blood).
Tarantino is a wonderful director and he does something that a lot of directors just can't do when they choose modern music; he chooses good music, which fits his style. The only thing he doesn't do well is act (Desperado, Dusk Before Dawn, all his "brotha's" Rodriguez's flicks I might add.)
April 16th, in the states ... oh yeah The Punisher comes out that day too ... all I can say about that is ... it'll be better then the other Punisher movie, which was horribly bad, but Luis Gosit Jr. was awesome in it ... as always.

And just to forewarn other unaware people, the following comic books from which films/TV were made are also NOT Marvel: Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, The Green Hornet, Green Lantern, Judge Dredd, Hellboy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Interesting detail: The yellow biker suit worn by Uma Thurman is an allusion to Bruce Lee's famous yellow sweater. In "fists of fury", a monument in Karate movies, he prefers the sweater, modern and practical, to the traditional kimono, and he choses a colour that doesn't mean anything (unlike red, or white, or black who have a certain symbolic significance). He wanted to be as free as possible from the ancient martial arts teachings.
Tarentino is probably using this cliche; in his own way, he's an anti-traditional too... not exactly like Bruce Lee though

Cassius what happened to your beautiful face! I found that pic of you especially! Are you and skeletor seeing each other (I'm guessing from his hand posture in his avatar)?

One reason why DC will never overshadow Marvel is that their characters are unbelievable. Secondly, Marvel characters live in REAL CITIES. The most believable DC character is Batman, however, batman is awesome.
Kevin, Spawn was a terrible piece of crap and you should be beaten for saying it was even okay  .
As for all the s**tfest comic book movies, I know ... I know. However, thankfully now they're taking a second hand at it in a professional maner.
Don't count on Captain America being made any time soon though, as much as it would kick ass, and it would, it's tied up in so much legal paper work it probably wont be free any time soon.
Yeah, Blade did start the whole 'respect comic books dammit' thing. However, most people who 'love' that movie don't know its based on a comic book. But I must say, it's the best adaptation I've seen yet, because the comic book was terrible (by best adaptation I mean best and most sensable changes, thus adapted).
The new fantastic four looks like crap based on the casting. Paul "fast and furious" Walker gets the human torch ... that no talent ass clown. As bad as Fast and the Furious was ... he was the worst part ... and that's really really really sad.
I am very much looking forward to '06 because of X3
However, Hayter (main writter for both Xmen and X2) says he doesn't want to include Gambit as a physical character because he's too much like wolverine and such. In one of the better storylines (in my opinion) Remy was Logan's son, and I thought that was awesome, in the same story line Logan was Victor Creed's son (Sabertooth). They're doing such a great job with the X-Men universe, to be honest. However, I heard that they only want to make 2 more Xmen films and then have that be that, and then immediatly schedual indipendant movies. Wolverine would be the first  (I think people have too much of a fixation on Wolverine, he's cool and all, but ... there are cooler characters)

And how does he see? He has no eyeballs....
