This is why everyone should idle in #snarkpit on Quakenet. 'Tis utter
madness, but you get intellectual debate, right wing foods and general
madness.

Just in case you didn't know, the swatstika symbols origins lie far before Hitlers time.

Yes yes, an ancient symbol for peace, blah blah blah. But it's still creepy to see it on a tofu cake, more or less.

The swastika is the horizontally mirrored Chinese peace symbol. (so its technically not the same symbol)

related topic?.. perhaps.
my wife has a seashell with a perfect image of what most would consider "Jesus" on it.
mind you, i am agnostic, so i don't apply any faith issues to my seeing the image.. i just look at it and say "you know, that looks just like those pictures you always see of the guy"
anywho's.. pictures seen in random objects are neato cool.
also possibly related:
once while driving to work, i saw a full, whole eastern sky covering representation of a "Phoenix" .. i had no camera available sadly, but the bird was flying directly into the sunrise.. it was without a doubt, the coolest cloud formation i had ever witnessed.. bright orange, and the only clouds in sight.. i actually pulled the car over and looked at it till it disipated..
the effect lasted from the time i noticed it to end... about 20 minutes. and... took absolutely no imagination to see the bird..

That sounds really good.
Once on a car journey I saw a very very bright light on the top of a hill. It seemed to be shining in all directions, and I couldn't make out any buildings or people... never had an idea as to what it was.

we went camping one year and we were just out on the lake fishing (my family) when we hear this really weird noise, kinda like a high pitched screetch (like how a rocket sounds). we looked up and saw an object fly across the sky, looked like a rocket, but then it stopped, and went back the way it came REALLY fast. im not gonna say it was a UFO but it was definately something weird... everyone in the family saw it, and we all agreed that it was very odd. this lake wasn't by any army bases or anything (that we know of) and it was pretty much out in the middle of nowhere.

Yup, I can see how this startling breakthrough belongs in the same
thread as Nazi tofu  Seriously though, wierd looking animals
those aren't they? Somewhat otherwordly if you ask me, they just seem
too tall and skinny to be normal.

It looks like a heron to me, but where I live we get blue herons, never seen a white one before.

there are many kinds of herons and storks..
i have seen pics in google that look like each..
/me wonders, did people mix up the pics, or are the birds related genetically??
i am inclined to defer my opinion to heron.. more of the pics resemble CJ's
