I think the character to come back will be bleeding gums murphy! I didn't actually see him die.

smithers is too obvious a choice, but mo could be in the running.

i really hope they don't do it to mad willy.

and i really really hope we don't get to see them kissing, whoever it is. the simpsons just wouldn't be the same for me after that. :/

It doesn't say that they get married, just that someone comes out of the closet (just because gay marriage is allowed doesn't mean it will happen). And my money is on Patty. Women can be gay, too.

Monqui, in the paper today it said that they get married, although, they are probably assuming.

He's the only character who's "died" in the series that they actually talk about. Dr. Marvin Monroe is the one they just stopped putting in episodes. And of course, Phil Hartman's Troy McClure isn't there, since he's dead.

So, the only person they've actually showed to some extent dying (Besides Maude).

I think it could be moe, but if they gay peeps do get married, it would prolly be smithers and moe. The return character, might have to think about that one. Although now that crono mentions it, i think it could be dr.marvin monroe.

I stopped caring about the Simpsons, at least the new episodes, long long ago.

...where the hell did moe come from? Why do you people keep saying Moe is gay? Sure, it is an uncertain issue... but... maybe I just havent watched enough of the new episodes.

I stopped caring for the simpsons ages ago, it became too predictable. I've since moved onto Family Guy :smile:

I also think either Lenny or Karl is gay...not both of them however.

not so much that it's an episode about gay marriage, more that it seems to be a sensitive enough issue without making children the leading players in it. i honestly don't think the producers would go down that road.

and the fact that she's been with the two gladiators would be more in the shows style, than having it be one of the more obvious choices.

and i dont know if i should be admitting this on the intraweb, but i've always managed to be attracted to gay women. and you need to admit, millhouses mum's hot...................... :biggrin:
