I've been watching this server all evening but there doesn't seem to be anything happening... Unless "this evening" is the Half-Life player standard for lateness, i.e. 3am

i downloaded and installed agmod. i seen on the website that it doesn't like adware, so i done all the necessary scans and got rid of some cookies.
everything appeared to go fine, and 'Adrenalin Gamer Steam' is now added to my 3rd party games list. i open it and find a server to join, but just as i'm about to enter the game at the 'parsing game info' bit(which i think is the last bit), i get dropped back the the list of servers with no error message.
i know some servers are running versions other than the current v6.6 that i have, so i made sure i was trying the right ones.
i suppose i better go and try installing it again.

well, according to norton av, spybot s&d, adaware, and trojan hunter, my comp's as clean as a whistle.
so after uninstalling agmod, and re-installing with an .exe from one of the other mirrors, i was hoping that it might let me join a game. looks like it just doesn't like me though, 'cause it still drops me right as i'm about to spawn.

Well guys the server WAS working for me, and to get our contest maps you need to vote for them with "vote changelevel <mapname>", and have most of the people in the server write "yes" in the console. Unfortunately it now seems to have a password on it, think they are now having a clan match of something, considering they have changed mode to the clanbase cup server settings

I think Ferret's server is still up though. He just needs to install some sort of map-voting mod methinks.

yup, map voting would be good.
i think all the comp maps are on it too. i looked for maps with 'dm' in their names, and it looked like all the comp maps with dm in got listed.

I'll be around most of the day so can play whenever, but the American's are only likely be online from about 8pm our time Lep, thats when they normally make an appearance I believe.

Hi all, it was me who got Minuz to post it about PC server cause i'm banned on those forums :dorky:
I've uploaded about 1250-1300 maps on PC server, including the ones of the competition. If you have any questions (server related, adding maps, etc) you can contact me in irc: irc.quakenet.org. channel #=pc=
If the server is passworded and not used, drop by in #=pc= and ask somebody to unlock it

Great, thanks  I suggest we try again and arrange a time for this evening- sometime after 10pm GMT, perhaps?

Sounds like a good idea to me, perhaps a little later though to allow
the American's to get on at a reasonable time? I'll make myself
available anytime from 10pm onwards though.
