I've found something pretty funny about Bush in a (romanian) newspaper this morning. According to the paper, G.Bush is related tooooooooooo drumbs rolling...: VLAD TEPES aka DRACULA aka VLAD THE IMPALER  !!! But how is this possible, you're probably asking yourselves? Weeellll, the newspaper states that Vlad has descendants in the English royal family (!in the 13th century!) and that Bush is found to be related to English royality. What's even weirder is that it seems Kerry is Bush's veeeeeeeery distant cousin. All-in-all, this stupid story seems to have been confirmed by american analists encharged with finding George's roots. !

Makes sense. Bush is slaughtering people because God told him to (as he says) ... He hasn't stabbed any crosses yet with his wife who commited suicide below it. Renounced God causing gallons of blood to pour out of the cross ... and has Anthony Hopkins' Van Helsing chasing him years later.

does anyone besides me remember when bush got into hot water when he said something about not doing a religious campaign due to his non-belief, then suddenly he was god fearing?

it is my considered opinion that the gallery pictures, are not to be used in personal battles.

Real classy there Andrei.

Anyway, who gives a s**t about who's related to who? My dad's a genealogy nut and has found that he's something like a 14th cousin to Dubya, it really doesn't matter considering THAT's an even closer relation than Dubya to Vlad considering Vlad's been dead for quite some time.

Ok, ok, post edited  .

turns to Hugh

That IS'NT the point. One of the points is the cr*p people put on the front-page of an important newspaper and the other is how...improbable such a story is.

Boy you sure put me there in my place. You probably should have left my picture in your post for a greater effect... but I dunno, I may have been so crushed that I may have had to take my own life, so maybe you were doing me a favor by removing it.

To be even more on topic, I'd like to point out that my post may have dealt with people looking at the genealogy of the president to make some sort of political statement equating Bush with Vlad the Impaler. Besides, if I wanted to insult you or anyone else in this thread I would have tried harder and gotten better results.

joe, you and dave are my two oldest, and i assume dearest companions here.. i knew exactly what you were talking about, but it looked like no one else did.

i did my duty, when the picture showed up, i felt any more was within your field of influence to partake in retribution.

you handled it well enough, but i also felt a tiny bit of levity was in order.. i am sorry i slipped into ADMIN mode.. contrary to popular opinion, i am pretty good at it

my apologies for the infringement.. it won't happen again.

It's funny how politics make people think they can be as disrespectful as they want. Yes, that would be hypocritical, coming from me, except for the fact that I honestly could not hope to match the antics of some of the more ardent (read: retarded) young Kerry supporters of the Bay Area. A car full of college-age children drove past my own dear mother, yelling profanities at her the whole way, for her Bush bumper sticker. The Bush signs we've put up on our front lawn are ripped up overnight.

Oh, the humanity.

"Those who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin.

I have to agree with your former president on this...

Franklin was never a president.

Those Republicans sure know how to play the election game. A referendum was set up in Ohio (which turned out, as expected, to be the key of key states) on whether Gay Marriage should be banned. A referendum like that brings the moral crusaders out to the polls, and they tend to go Republican. It would have been nice if Edwards was able to help out Kerry, but in the end he couldn't even bring along his home state.

there was a time when you could have thrown a brick through the windshield of that car and gotten a standing ovation for it.. now days its frowned upon.. as if throwing the brick were worse somehow

i wish someone would explain to me how those kids are going to learn if you can no longer throw bricks at them.. i miss the days where you could slap someone in the back of the head and they would sit up and pay attention.. (for you candy asses who are reading this, thats a figurative comment, not a literal one, although a good back hand will work wonders if applied with enough force.)

my sympathies to your mom cass

Quick thought - might the Democrats move to allow euthanasia to try to win back Florida from the old people in future elections? It'd be a funny tactic, in a detached, morbid way.

not to be to "eewww", but that topic would make a good discussion.. no not florida, i mean euthanasia.. for the most part, stem cells went pretty good.. i would hope that euthanasia would go as good if not better.. it is at least as important a subject IMO.. although, it could degrade to an ageism topic too.. for some, you have to experience seeing the old suffer before it hits home that they shouldn't have too.

[edit]

i would like to remind everyone though that its not only the old who suffer, there are a lot of young people whom need to be allowed the option.. these pro-choice assholes killing their babies, they should do something worth while like supporting a real "CHOICE"!!

i have to know, what is OK about kerry? other than its because of him that bush will prolly get re-elected.. but i have to know, what is OK about him?

i still believe and nothing has happened to change my view, that they only have kerry around to ensure bush is re-elected to a second term.. bush is worthless, kerry makes worthless have value.
