Sounds like a nice guy too bad he left but you will see him in essence everywhere.
E.g. in his maps, he leaves his marks as do all of us.

I've noticed several people who haven't been on in a while. I agree this place is addictive sometimes. It would help though if Lep would stop giving out free packets of crack to every new member.

So are some others, but I think certain people can 'grow' out of this website because of their job if they get one and it changes their life style/routine/etc... Who knows without asking him, I'll get the fish heads/log trap set up.

I had a long talk with mike before he decide to not come back as often. suffice it to say that he felt he was dedicating to much time and severely disrupting his normal life.
this is a personal decision each of us must make i suppose, but i can understand his thinking. when i am home, i want to socialize far to often in here, when i have other things that need attended to. but my situation is unique.. i am gone for vast amounts of time with my job and do not want to work when i get home.. i cannot honestly say its lazy of me, nor is it procrastination either.. i am genuinely tired and need the rest, but i do not do the things after i have rested either sometimes
anyways. mike will be around. give him a chance to do so. besides he may be on one of his spelunking adventures and quite unable to post.

Its inevitable that people will come and go in communities, though it
is sad that we have recently lost so many established members. We have
got a lot of new members who are extremely active though, so even if we
have lost some more vocal members, I don't think the community is
"falling apart" or anything of the sort.
