<p class="MsoNormal">
Wow Omega, by all means hate Yellowcard, but whats
with the Green Day comparison? Both play music in similar genres, but that is
pretty much where the similarities end. The only commonality between the names
is the use of a colour, which I hardly think is justification for calling them
a rip off. Since when did Green Day get a monopoly on the pop/rock/punk musical
style?
Forgive the code, im posting from school on a crappy lap top
? but to the best of my knowledge no one holds a monopoly over anything (unless
your talking about Michael Jackson and pop music).
There really wasn?t a comparison, green day is good listening
music from the 80s, yellowcard is a 2000 spin on 80s rock. It goes for the same
deal with the name of the band (trivial I know, but why not set yourself apart
by choosing your own name than copying others).
Just some names to add to the list:
Green Day ? since when are you having a ?green day?? when
you get sick from listening to their music too much? Or having ?Good Ridince?
played an excessive amount of time in college dorms on the gutar, or their ?Bulavard
of Broken Dreams? on the radio every hour?
Blink 182 ? do you blink 182 times a second or something?
Limp Bizkit ? WTF is a limp bizkit?
Flogging Molly (Maybe im mixing this up with a song) ? why does
molly need to be flogged?
Linkin Park ? Where is this linking park?
Phish ? great band, but why spell ?fish? like ?phish??
