Once I stopped playing CS:S, I realized how much of a dead end it is to put a lot of effort and time into making a map for it, because the map will never get played. The playerbase doesn't play any real maps, just dust1&2 and a few hundred fy/aim/surf/gungame maps, partly I suppose because TRS dropped the ball in porting them to source. Also dynamic weapon pricing is stupider than a severely retarded 8 year old.

Meh, I'm probably never gonna finish this map, but the name *_vestige is copyrighted and trademarked and under armed guard... armed with telekinesis! and arms!!! (same applies for *_buried, mkutuo is and always has been surrounded in crap)

Counter Strike Source cs_harborbank

DESCRIPTION:
The terrorists heist of the Harbor Bank has ran into a hitch: they can't get into the vault. Out of desperation they have taken four bank tellers hostage and demanded no police within one city block.

You are free to navigate a full 360 degrees around the exterior of the bank as you see fit, but beware of long range weapon fire.

If you get pinned down by snipers, you are advised to use the city's underground drainage system to get yourself to a better position. It has entrances at every corner of the map.

The bank structure itself is the recommended zone for enemy encounterment. Its upstairs halls and offices should provide sufficient cover for you and your men using even short-range weapons.

The first floor lobby and vault room are more suited for mid-ranged weapons.

The hostage rescue zone is located AT THE HARBOR BOAT DOCKS. INTEL has determined this is the only feasible escape route to get the hostages to safety.

NOTICE:
Due to the "free-roam" nature of this map and the consistent level of detail, some find that it can run sluggish on slower machines. I suggest you try lowering your Counter-Strike advanced video settings if you find yourself with unsatisfactory framerates.

Set around a plaza in a mexican city where new construction has upset local reble leaders who hire terrorist to destroy the work in progress. Counter-Terrorist have been dispatched to a local hotel rooftop to watch over the suspected targets.

Well, de_silica is a bomb defusal map for 32 players. It is my first attempt to make a map with dust theme, and probably the first decent map I have made to Source engine.

The map is almost ready, but I will upload a beta version soon. Suggestions and comments, even based on the screenshots, are welcome.

Oh, yes, forgot to mention.. There is a tunnel network below the ground, I'll add at least one more exit after Hammer finishes compiling.

UPDATE:
Added the compiled map that completed last night, I already have made some changes to some objects' angles and also tried to break the boxed feeling, but I won't probably upload that or any newer until the map is completely finished. .nav-file also included, I haven't made any modifications to it yet. Thank you Arzie for hosting!

Darn, forgot the cubemaps, entities are present but I didn't run buildcubemaps...

Hey all.

I've been working with this map for some time now, and thought i could just finish it, and add here. But as i have some memories from last times, i got good suggestions from here and i decided to add this a bit earlier, so you can throw any kind of ideas. Im always intrested. Theme of the map.. well.. its a somekind of facility. Oldish, thus the name. I was after prodigy and nuke with the style, and it worked suprisingly good.

Oh well, i hope you like the pictures so far, i would of add more (i got loads of em) but there is some limit here. Maybe i upload them later and put em all here.

Counter Strike Source de_trainstation

This is a map set in a trainstation (A DER). I did what I did in my other Half-Life 2 Deathmatch map. There is a train that goes by and the players must watch out for it. The two bombsites are a garden and the docks. I thought about the layout alot when I was making this map. I literally worked on this map ANY chance I got. A week and a half of constant mapping.

COOL POINTS OF THE MAP:
-The train
-MAKE SURE TO GET HIT BY THE TRAIN! It honks it horn when it hits a player and the player goes FLYING.
-The docks explode when the bomb explodes
-The garden fountain explodes when the bomb explodes.
-REALLY fun to play with bots or people. Nothing cooler than hearing the train horn in the distance and then looking up to see who got smaked by it. (Especially with bots :D)
-Bots play well in it

Counter Strike Source CS_Tyler TX Compound

This would be my "cult compound" if I had my own cult.
The idea is to make a nice, expensive house with all the fixings
(a dream house if you will) that's seemingly normal, but its a front.

All the terrorist cult activities happen in the underground tunnels.
The tunnel system will consist of living quarters, storage rooms (for
weapons, food, etc...) a chapel, generator room. It will have two
entrances exits. One to outside and one inside the house.

I plan on making alot of custom textures (logos and labels).
Most likely they will be in bad taste (like obvious kool-aid jokes). I
have already begun making some custom MREs, crate labels,
cult propaganda, etc... but I may remove them later.

For now I want to make it a hostage map, but I may make an alternate bomb version later on if the map works out to be what I hope.

This is my latest map DE_Star a futuristic themed map for CS:S. Based on a landing platform above a huge city, the map has been purposely built small to keep play fast and too the point.

The texture set is 99% custom and comes with custom soundscapes to create as unique experience as possible. The map is fully BSP zipped for easy server sharing, fully support HDR and comes with bot support. This is my first CS:S map and my first release for over a year.

This is a very small fy map i made for fun when i was bored and had nohting better to do. its basically just a small fighting arena with a bunch of
crates to shape the layout. it only fits 12 players (you wouldnt want any more) but it still a lot of fun with both bots and human players. download and have fun.
