I'm not mad, it's really just the fact that you make Muslims the butt of your jokes far too often. Like the Jihad shirt, for example. And, honestly, just because I mention something Muslim doesn't mean there should be a retort about terrorism. The fact is that most Muslims aren't terrorists. The minority of Muslims are suicide bombers, also, and in your comment you singlehandedly said that all Muslims do that. I know that's not what you think, or know, but it is what your comments imply.

Honestly, I'm sick of everyone's views of the Muslim religion. Most people are wrong. It pisses me off even more that the only Muslims (that aren't converted) that get recognized are murderers, terrorists, and extremists. It's f**king pathetic.

Anyway, It was just getting annoying.

Political correctness is ridiculous. Today, I saw a couple black reverends arguing on TV over Black History month. While one of them had a pretty good point: Black history month is racism. Since, instead of teaching, and practicing, understanding, all that stuff, the history of blacks as HISTORY, they segregate it into black history. Which makes sense, I don't completely agree though.
However, when black history week (which became an entire month) was "created", they wanted it to eventually go away, since it is still segregation. There is a point there, but it's still a little ridiculous.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

I reckon you're spot on there. The (somewhat sick) irony is that often the terrorists and extremists hold their views because of the view that all Muslims are extremists. Suicide bombings caused by acting out of hatred against stereotypical views are also the cause of these views. A very vicious circle.

IMHO, of course...

Cumon guys, America makes films taking the piss out of muslim Jihads and terrorists, everyone takes the piss out of Americans for being stupid, English call the French frogs, we get called hooligans, ethiopians get called skinny and scrawny (they actually serve some of the best food in the world)- does it really matter?

It's christmas.

I know what you're sayin'. But fact is you're going to have to deal with that your entire life. Even if I stop talking about muslims altogether, everyone else is going to say it. I've never heard of a suicide bomber that WASN'T a Muslim of some kind. When a certain type of person monopolizes in some kind of activity they get known for it.
  • Germans get the Nazism rap.
  • Jew's get the money-hoarding and complaining.
  • Asians get the math skills.
  • Americans get the stupidity
  • Brits get the bad teeth
  • American southerners get incest and bigotry
  • Blacks get all the crime and welfare checks.
  • Hispanics are ALL known as "fence-hopping mexicans"
  • and Muslims get to be terrorists.
We all know that not ALL of these people do this stuff. But these certain groups of people are the ones that do most of it. like maybe only 1% of muslims are terrorists, but maybe 90% or terrorists are Muslims, (completely fictitious stats) see? so that's why they get the rap for it.

Everyone seems to think that ALL Christians are "momma-said" Christians who blindly do what they are told by religious leaders and thier mothers. You ask them WHY they beleive something, and they can't tell you because they don't know. They only go by what they are told and they don't know why. Only high-school girls and a few others are like that. Not all of us.

So, anyway, I'll ease up on the Muslim jokes, k? But Maybe you all could try to stop the more subtle, but still insidious preconception that all Christians are Ned-Flanders Nincompoops.

But "Black History Month" was created because they were complaining about not being celebrated! Grrrrr.... See how PC is so stupid? We change something around so people will not get offended, and they get offended because we made special considerations for them!!

Every name we have EVER called black people has immediately become "racist"

First, "n****r" was okay, then they didnt like it, so we called them "Negro", then they got mad at that, they wanted to be called "colored" so we called them "colored" and they got mad about THAT. Then they wanted to be called "Afro-Americans" and when we called them that, they got pissed off. Then they wanted to be called "Black" and they hate us for emphasizing our differences, so they want to be called "african americans" and we did and they got mad aobut that so they wanted to be called "Ebony" and we called them that and they got pissed off. and NOW they all walk around calling each other "n****r!!!!" If we had not tried to be PC in the first place, it would have saved a lot of time and effort.....

Bah, bad writing on my part -- but you're right though -- but here's more or less what I meant:

Not everything can be explained in religion -- partiularly Catholiscm
(refered to as a "Mystery") since there's no hard proof of
anything, Catholics have to have faith in the things that can't be
explained, and in what they believe in.

But as I said -- good point, and made

I cant find out whether he was planning to blow himself up, but considering the technology available at the time, it would have been likely. The explosion would have levelled the palace, and caused fairly extensive damage to nearby buildings. A fuse long enough to allow escape probably wouldnt have been trustworthy.

Suicide bombers are insane people that need help- they are so stupid that they don't even know thier own religion- AFAIK every religion condemns suicide to hell, no matter what the situation. Their "greater good" is nothing more than eternal damnation for themselves, if such a place exists, but we shouldn't get into that.

Anyway, steering the topic a bit seeing as this arguing and debate WILL get us nowhere (its been going on for hundreds of years), the new agenda-

How are you celebrating christmas this year, and does it differ from your usual celebrations? Ever had an unusual christmas that you feel like sharing?

In the yonder Lep and Myrk household we just wake up, get presents - we limit ourselves and open a few before everyones awake if we wake up early, which I haven't for years - then sit around opening presents as a family, not the whole one by one crap though, then do our own thing till Lunch, then do our own thing or hang out in the front room.

Now I may be a bit wrong, but not by much methinks.

In the case of the Japanese, and the Muslims, your application of suicide is not quite accurate.

You are applying our definition to the "Snuffing of a life" to their actions, which is not exactly the same thing. In the end, the life is gone sure, but suicide is a VERY selfish action. Killing oneself the way those two peoples did or do is not really very selfish.

The problem is, we cannot alter our minds to encompass exactly what it takes to become a Kamikaze or a living bomb. I would bet you money that the term "Suicide Bomber" is not of Muslim decent. Its more than likely the name given by either the Americans or some other country that thinks similarly to ourselves.

Think on that a while.

Myrk is correct. It's a very terrible thing to do ... you're not even suppose to harm yourself in any fasion (Such as if the only food available was Pork ... it's okay to eat it.)

Anyway, thanks for easing up, it has nothing to do with other people, but in a general community where everyone is suppose to feel comfortable ...

I'm well aware of the type of attitude people have, thank God they're not as ignorant as a few decades ago.

For Christmas, doing the same thing we always do. Presents, turkey, ... that's about it, but those take a long time.

Today and tomorrow I'm having friends over for a theater thing in my garage. Got the audio going (real 6 channel) and projector.

My Christmas is planned to be fairly usual. Christmas Eve is boozing
night as always - pretty much every young person in town hits the same
pub and complains at how it's too busy to get served  On Christmas
Day my Gran, Auntie and Uncle are going to be here and we are gonna do
the same old opening of presents, eating muchos food, and generally
hanging out. I'll also be going for the yearly Christmas skate which my
mates and I do on Christmas day...for all of 10 minutes before the cold
gets the better of us and we abort it in favour of playing computer
games or something!

What do you mean I need a hair cut? Maybe you need to grow your hair eh? I'll have you know in the winter months this hair keeps my neck nice and warm, plus that picture is old and a wierd angle, and it makes my bum look big  Seriously though, it was scabby that day.

On top of that, if you look at the gallery, you'll notice the most respected members all have long hair  Look at Reno and his bush, and Supercrazy, who seems to have dissapeared...

I beg to differ ReNo, it's still rather long and mullety. I'm tempted to post a picture of me with longer hair...

I'll tell you this:
  • Women's fantasy men are becoming more and more feminine each day. Like these "metrosexual" boy-band "Lance" guys...
  • I grew my hair out and girls just told me to cut it.
  • I cut my hair when i was good and ready and they told me they liked it long.

I tried sniffing coke, but the ice cubes kept getting stuck in my nose.

It all depends on your bone structure and face etc- long hair doesn't suit everyone, my flatmate being a shining example lol.

I didn't like my hair that long. It was a f**king bitch to keep
it from looking like a birds nest since I was always in the pool.
Its short now, and I'm keeping it that way.

The chickens look more sexy than the fago picture of the girlyman.

Long hair may be in style in some locals, but its not universal I promise. I got lots more girls as a youth with short hair and muscles than long hair and muscles. And yes, I did it both ways.

Sadly, I saw a kid yesterday at Wal-Mart about 15ish. He had on boys pants, boys shirt, boys shoes and girls ear rings. Now, I will be the first to admit that there is no such thing as a mans ear ring BUT, some are more man than others. This kid had a jewel the size of a dime hooked to his lobe and it sorta looked diamondish. Probably a cubit zirconium (however its spelled) but the point is, it was the size of a freaking marble.

Kids, they worry me. Parents who allow the confusion is another issue too. His parents were there and evidently condoned his Jewry choices.
There is no history until something happens, then there is.

It's the bling UD! All the rage these days... maybe if he smiled at you you'd see his diamond studded teeth.

Definition of Bling... just in case: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&oi=defmore&defl=en&q=define:Bling

There's an Eid around now. The last one was last month when Ramadan ended. They rotate, by the way. They go every ... 12th new moon, is ramadan, then Eid, then a month later is another Eid. I forget the name for them, they both have special names.

I was just talking to my dad about this last night, actually.

Don't celebrate the second Eid really ... have no one to share the sheep with  That and it's pretty expensive now.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Heh...I guess that Samson-like features dont make you exempt from your woman's wrath, though...

What about pirates? Pirates wear earrings, and who can POSSIBLY be more manly than a pirate?

If I didn't know better, I'd say long haired Heman here has a hawt chick by him...

Also, heres an amazing debate whilst talking on the subject-

Which would win? Pirates or Ninjas?

This does include both bands of pirates/ninjas, and single one on one battles. Now before posting your answer, think of every aspect of each one... The argument will never end!

Ninjas, no doubt.

And Fabio got hit by a bird in the face while on a rollercoaster... it was no woman.

It was prolly a female bird.

Okay, one on one, I have to say that a ninja has the upper-hand with his super agility, as long as he can dodge that sword.

Band of pirates > band of ninjas, because the pirates will bombard the ninjas with canon fire, then as they come ashore they let loose with their pitols, and by the time hand-to-hand combat is on, most of the ninjas are shot. Especially during the daytime, where the ninjas lose their stealth, and they are vulnerable. Now, I know the ninjas might have bows and shurikens, but these are obsolete compared to the speed and accuracy of a good ol' firearm. Plus, the pirates have godlike constitutions and one might keep going even if there is an arrow stuck in his body.

Oh, and there is only one thing that's gonna convince the pirates to attack the ninjas, and that is their treasure and their women, and nothing is gonna stop a hoard of pirates in search of booty. (both kinds)
