They are very nice indeed
Personally, I love mountains and rock formations, they're so cool to look at. Especially covered in snow, I'm going skiing in a few weeks so I'll get to see a lot of these  Last time I went it was terrific, so I hope this time it's even better!

Wow! I didn't look at them all but the 20 or so I did look at were awsome. If I was there I would be expecting a tribe of injuns to appear over one of the ridges all at once or something. Hmm that sounds stupid doesn't it... oh well, I'll leave it in. I hope one day I can go over to the US/Canada and go see all the amazing landscape you have got

take the time, the pics are worth it..
some of those shots, must be of the 40 mile range or more..
2d flat pics really ruin the feel
my camera being fairly cheap in model doesn't help either, but i think most of the pics are clear enuff not to be a total loss.
someday i hope to return with a much better camera.

I have a place just like that in my back yard.. Well its about an hour away.. Just above Alamargodo N.M. On your way up to Cloud Croft. Next time im up that way, I'll snap a few for you Orph. I'll also see if I cant get you some photos of White Sands, and The Glass Desert. The glass desert is where they tested the Nukes.. got so hot it turned the sand into glass.. They call it the Trinity site.
Pretty nice Orph.. Theonly thing I miss from being a Truck Driver is all the pretty vistas you get to see. Coming down a 50-60% grade in the wrong gear, I dont miss at all. =)

Man, I live in Torquay (Pretty much) and I walk to work, and because I live on top of a hill, I walk and I can see the sea to my left, and in the mornings, you can often see a fog rolling in of the sea, it's absolutely beautiful. I have lived here now for 2 years and it's amazing I love it. the natrual beauty is second to few in the UK. They call it the English Riviera. In fact I can see the sea from my bedroom window just about it's brilliant.

To be fair, England, Wales and Scotlands scenery is nothing like that (apart from the really high hill ranges maybe) so its incomparable. Britain has beautiful, green and rolling countrysides littered with ancient stone ruins of castles, temples, monasterys and abbies - and much more more.
You cannot compare the beauty of 2 natural environments.. hence why "diversity is the spice of life".

i would be willing to bet, familiarity dulls many peoples perceptions of "beautiful"
i would think that anyplace has nice scenery, if for no other reason than, one hasn't seen it yet.
i, for one, would love to see some screens of authentic castles, not ones from the net, but pics taken by my friends, that would make them more personal IMO, and hence, very much better
Arkansas is pretty crappy, but the Fayetteville area is kinda nice..

Tracer Bullet and mazemaster... I wasn't trying to say that England looks better, I was just trying to show that England has nice places as well. And yeah... what Gwil said

I made that avatar a while back when Lep was looking for something for the "moron branding." Didn't think it would ever see the light of day.

Actually, I don't really know why the avatar is there - I was banned from the site for a while with no explanation, and now, bam, the avatar. I can't upload a different one, and Lep ain't not responding to PM's, so I guess I'll just wear my dunce cap and hang my head in shame.
And to boot, I had a new avatar that I had just uploaded - it was a picture of me - hence my sig.

I've snowboarded at Anoch Mor a few times, one of the better places in Scotland. In its back bowl it can see some really nice powder...as far as Scotland goes that is.
