This is a top shot. Master Cheif and the Arbiter. Halo 3 is the close of an awsome trilogy that Bungie created back in 2001. Halo 3 'Finish the Fight'. OMG I wonder what is going to happen, the possibiliteis, will the world end? !

I just connected a third monitor to my screen. Huzza!

Have a look!

The smaller one to the left will be replaces by a 1600*1200 lcd screen when I get back to my appartment with my computer. The middle and right one are connected to a 6800gt APG card with two connectors, and the left one to an old ATI PCI card.

I guess four screens is the next step. If I could get my hands on a free monitor I'd probably go for it.

EDIT:

Here's a shot of what my setup looks like.

Gotta protect my msn contacs privacy hehe ;D

I think most people that do mapping/photo editing/modelling etc would benefit from having at least two monitors. Hammer on one monitor and a tutorial or forum on the other, photoshop on one screen and all the panels on the other, etc. Plus you feel extra geeky which is great.

I love how I feel surrounded by monitors. If I had a more powerful PC, and happened to find a crappy monitor for free I could use the forth monitor for displaying MilkDrop visulizations all the time. Ahhh, the possibilities...

But seriously, whether or not it's GW is real, we can spare a few kilowatts.

Do we really need global warming as a motivation to reduce the amount of poisenous gas that is pumped in our environment? Look at a place like Beijing. Those athletes will drop dead after running 100 meters through that smog next year.

I think the only useful way of reducing the energy consumption at home us turning of "standby" modes when you don't really use them. That's like... 50%? of the total energy used in an average household.

"Guys, the PC demo is simply not ready. The pc development was always a bit behind because we had more time to finish things (no submission to MS). The PC game will therefore have a bit more polish (and a couple more features like turning off loot highlight options) that 360 doesn't have.

It'll be out as soon as possible."

Welcome to 1985

________________________________

Maybe it's just me being jealous of people with Shader Model 3.0 cards (which Bioshock needs) but the PC-version complaints are already starting:

No Anti-Aliasing

Picture cut off on widescreen monitors

Bad control settings affecting Mice, which have to be tweaked in a hidden default.ini (Deus Ex 2 deja-vu)

...and it comes with spyware that even gets blocked by AVG. Now that's nice!

If someone complains that I'm just picking forum posts (which were linked to from news posts) - I would love to give the game a try with low GFX settings just to get a taste of the gameplay but they didn't bother adding support for SM2.0.

I loved System Shock 2. I trust the team to make this a mind-blowing game but I'm afraid I have to prepare for a major dose of consolitis. I can't believe that the XBox 360 focus won't affect the gameplay as well, ignoring some PC-specific features for the interface, the higher resolution etc.

It should be a great game, yes, but Irrational has been bought by by the console lobby.

Well, we still have Valve

UbiSoft has released: Ghost Recon, Far Cry, Prince of Persia Sands of Time, and Rayman Raving Rabbids for free (Ad Supported  ). All that is required is a US Ubi.com account.

Also, EA has released Command & Conquer Gold for free in celebration of C&C's 12th anniversary. Though, I don't think it has any ads (thankfully).
