This might be your problem, Cash. Most men are so pathologically afraid of being labelled "gay" that they won't even discuss whether other men are attractive. Straight women have no trouble discussing how gorgeous other women are, but ask a bloke about other men and he'll go all shy and try to talk about rugby instead.

If pressed, most blokes will say something like, "Well, I suppose you could say he's aesthetically pleasing - I mean, I might say that if I were a woman but obviously I don't think he's attractive. I'm not gay you know. No really, I play manly sports and have showers with my mates and all, so I can't be gay."

Women don't seem to care whether people think they're lesbians.

Anyway, I reckon most men wouldn't have the balls to post anything here, even if they did have some photos. But once you've asserted that everyone who does must either be gay or female, you'll put everyone off who might otherwise have posted.

But occasionally there are guys I find attractive, though mostly in a "damn I aspire to be as hot as him" sort of way. Jude Law, for example, is a really attractive guy. And the lead singer for Covenant, a Swedish industrial group, is really hot.

I think most people are slightly bisexual, we just repress it. There are a lot of qualities that attract me to a person, and many of them are not related to their sex at all... so it seems logical that at least some guys would have those qualities, even if I'm not that attracted to men physically. So I guess it depends on what you want in a relationship. I can see dating a guy I was really attracted to, but ultimately I don't see the sex being very interesting or fulfilling so it seems kind of pointless. And women's bodies are just so... curvy... :biggrin: .

Covenant owns, they're great. I don't know much about how they look and stuff...haven't really looked at images of them or anything, but I like their music a lot, kinda wish they'd come to Canada soon :biggrin:

As for the whole gay thing, I don't think of myself as gay at all, there are other good looking guys out there but they're just that. Although my girlfriend tends to disagree with the guys I think are good looking, i.e. I think Viggo Mortensen is awesome but she's more into Orlando Bloom who I think is just a tart. I'm more a fan of the "man's man" a gruff Indiana Jones/Solid Snake kind of person. But it's all in a purely "that guys rules!" kind of thing.

Looking at other guys is just market research. if you can figure out what's hot maybe you can capture that image too :biggrin: , or at least predict how successfull you may be. I think the problem is that women are totaly illogical and unpredictable. Hence my question about Vin Diesl. normaly I can understand why women are attracted to a particular guy, but in his case, I fail utterly.

My best friend is a hot girl, so you'd think that would give me some insight into how the feminine mind works, but I simply cannot figure out how she evaluates a guys looks. most of the guys she has dated in the past 8 years have been pretty damn homely IMO.

i think its the musculature TB, as it would explain why my wife looks at me after seeing him , with utter contempt.... or maybe its just 25+years of marriage...

i do not consider it in any stretch of the imagination gay to do so either.

whatever anyone else may consider as gay, is prolly not how i see it so.... lets consider it as individual as religious beliefs shall we.

Obviously, men have the ability to recognize visual indicators of testosterone - doesn't make anyone gay. The bad part about this is that it leads men to believe women like guys only because they're good looking; that's just one way to have power.
