Looks very impressive although the glow sprites around the lights are crud IMO - FX value is too high.

altho commenting on screenshots can get you some information, if you want any quality feedback you should post a useful bsp (zipped of course) to get any reliable information.
my advice tho, in advance, if it is a mod, you might wadinclude the beta to avoid any possible wad conflicts from your audience, cause if its to much trouble, people WILL avoid it.
snarkpit, for the most part is a good bunch, trust them with your map, i doubt anyone important will steal any of its content.
anyone skilled enuff to do it, could get it from the screenshots just as easy..
zip a recent compile and post a link to it, but be sure its either wadincluded or has a wad..
keep the file small as possible for your 56k bunch

lol Orpheus u think i wouldnt wad include ha.. ur crazy i hate when people dont wad include so i do it so it will of course be easier. But let me rephrase the question i asked earlier.
What are your thoughts on the theme.. Is it a suitable abandoned factory or?

The shots are both in the same room, personally I think they look... decent. The looks are all there; textures, architechture, etc., it's just the mechanics are off. It's hard to take your eyes off the bright white light that has some fancy glows but doesn't really light the level, which is a major problem with a mod with such dark player models.
Sure, it looks like an abandoned factory, but like an abandoned factory with a UT2k3 twist. Strangely, I think this would work for TS in spite of that.

I second Orph's advice.
IMO those glow sprites are to intense. they are in-your-face when they should be subtle.
Also I'd suggest some abandoned semi functional equipment to add a bit more realism.

I really like some of the stuff here, the realism is pretty spot on imo. Get some more coloured accentual lights on the go (I see some red ones but they are incredibly weak - don't be afraid to bump the intensity up - check my screens of px_selfless to see how they can turn out when strong) as at the moment every light is just white. I think you have done wonders for the amount of faces on display here, it comes across to me like minimalist mapping, yet it looks excellent for it. I look forward to seeing more of this one

Funky stuff mate, I checked out the pics of this map again recently and was thinking "why hasn't he done anything with this, had good potential" Only thing I can think to criticise is that crate texture, it looks almost like a cartoony texture and therefore very odd when next to all this realistic stuff. Otherwise, very pretty, as we have come to expect!

looking really great, textures are nice and crisp and flow together quite well. Architectures nice, and the skys colour really contrasts well with the surface, but it looks like the level where the sky is showing is too dimly lighted when looking at the brightness of the sky, but thats being picky, might wanna see what other people think.
Keep it up, if i had TS id play it foh shizzle!

on another note i will be changing the crate texture, this pic is WIP, w_poly is about 600 max but expect that to slightly increase as i add some final detailing
Thanks 2d-chris

Ok... Pic 3 looks really messy, too many textures going on or something, I can't really make out whats what, and the rest unfortunately is very plain. You have cool bits but I think your problem is that you're not filling them with stuff or you're simply making them too big for themselves...
