The worst 3 shows on planet earth I have ever seen ever, happen to be animes...

3: Poke'mon

Color quality: It's like playing an HLDM map that has just Babtech textures...

Fact: Shows been around since... 98? It still hasn't ended...

How to survive:

1. This is one of those shows where your freind comes over, and as soon as this anime comes on, you go into a mad fit, rip the TV off the wall, and tear apart all the esential wires.

2. Eat moldy gum. The effect will astonish you into un-awareness...

2: Serial Experiment Lain

Color Quality: It's like comparing a VolksWagon to a Viper... Interesting looking, but theres much much better out there.

What it's about: Call the police. Or call the producer. Somebody.

(Or drive down to your lawyer, and file a law suit against the creator. Hell, call them up at dinner time. They love this. )

How to survive: Words fail me. Smashing razor sharp diet coke cans with your bare feet could possibly be one of the many ways to not choke to death while watching this one...

drum roleeeee

1: Boogi Pop Phantom

Color quality: gasp

What it's about: dies

You just might be able to survive this one via' gnawing off one of your legs... If all else fails, do this :crash:

There's this show on MTV called "Your Face or Mine", shown pretty late (like 2 AM). The central concept is comparing attractive people to each other, "voting" on who is better. Sounds like a WONDERFUL premise to attract viewers, right? Only thing is, they overlay all kinds of horrible blue-chrome CG effects onto the whole show. There's gaudy looking holograms and panels popping up everywhere... Really disgusting. Easily one of the worst uses of CG on TV that I've ever seen. And that's ignoring the show's superficial premise in the first place!

Umm.. TV in general :wtf: I'd rather stare at a blank wall. it's a bit more interesting, and a good deal more productive.

Can't stand most reality TV, the exception being prank-based shows. My idea of the perfect Big Brother would be 100 people in the "House", with only 10 people's worth of food delivered each day and legal immunity from assault/battery for all contestants. A person is evicted each 10 minutes, as well as people who choose to leave or require medical attention. This may actually make the show watchable...

Pokemon owns you and your extended family, Lain is f**ked up, Zoolander was an instant classic, you suck, the end.

Bad show? Gorgeous George. Search for this on the Something Awful forums; the show itself sucks, the prank calls they get are hilarious. I watched Pitch Black, the prequel to the recent Chronicles of Riddick; besides being a much better film in general, this movie had at least two parts where you laugh out loud at how genius Riddick's style is. Is it a TV show? No. Is this a reply? Yes.

G.B. you should be punched in the face. Lain and Boogiepop are amazing series.

Shows that actually suck:

1. Anything on MTV except Spider-man (that show is f**king awesome).

2. Justice League

3. Every sitcom ever

4. Especially Mad about you (what a piece of s**t!!)

5. The WB network's entire lineup

6. Every reality show ever

8. Mutant X

9. Xena

10. The entire sci-fi channel (except maybe one or two shows ... maybe)

Shall I continue?
Just because you didn't like/understand Lain or Boogiepop doesn't mean they're bad.

By the way, that wasn't an insult. They're pretty confusing series'

1.Cop Rock

Steven Bochco wins the prize for the all time greatest turd on T.V. Look it up. Real serious cop show with singing.

2.Americas next top model.

Or any reality based program for that matter, however, this group of vapid self absorbed binks takes the cake.

3. Armageddon.

Michael Bay directing. Nuff said.

4. Hudson hawk.

Bruce Willis thought he was undefeatable. This movie almost took him off the A-list.

5. The last two batman movies.

What were they thinking?. Did the guys who write the checks ever see the dailies for these films? They were like a gay fantasia stage production.

6. Showgirls.

It's hard to get aroused when your whincing so much from the sheer spectacle of this movie.

If any UK viewers have ever had the misfortune to catch "The Machine"
on ITV post 1am (weekdays), they will probably agree it's terrible.

And surely can get high on the list for "worst CG use on TV"

Personally, my favorite technique for surviving bad shows is to write about their failures as entertainment pieces in tremendously overstated detail on internet forums and attempt to pass it off as humor.

its really pretty bad. Somewhat attractive lady who is a "sex slave" in
it however, not that she ever seems to do her job on the show...
