Right, new forum technology which you saw first here  It's a thread-in-a-thread, and should be exceedingly useful for long threads where posts can be structured a bit better. Click on the contents above for another chapter...
There's a few bugs I didn't catch, so topic locked until they're fixed.. heh I pity the fool who ever uses anything mechanical I make

This could really help for maps if you had a structure for betas within a map. So you could have according threads and map listings for a single map that contained the betas within.

/me fears 2 things..
1) the sideways list within a list could get immense with a few hundred posts.
2) we already have overlooked replies, this could hide them still further.
is there a way to "view all"?

I don't plan on it being in general use, but where the person who started the topic (or someone else) will be interested in all replies- e.g. in map threads, or in my 'site suggestions/bugs' topic- and where it doesn't matter so much if a random person misses a reply.

Can only the thread starter create a new chapter? And does it need to be specified as a "chapterable" thread when it is created?

You simply reply inside the chapter you're in, as normal.
The thread starter and moderators can add new chapters, in a chapter-enabled thread. Like I said it should be useful for instances where the thread starter is interested in what's going on in very long threads, rather than normal 'general banter' discussions, so it seems to me that only they should be allowed to organise it. It's all very new untested stuff, so if you have any suggestions or questions at all fire away!

I chose the "Another chapter" chapter and then "new reply", but the
post enden up in the Introduction chapter... I can only post in this
chapter using quick reply
Maybe it's just me doing something wrong

edit: OK
So how do we make chapters, or is it only allowed to the thread starter ?

You can't, yet, unless you're posting about your map in the maps forum in which it's done automatically.

This is a damn good feature, Lep. Kudos on the idea / execution!
