Given that I can fit some in, I am open for business. Critiques can be public or private upon request.
All I ask is, you state in advance which you want, and understand that a critique is given freely, so keep your anger to yourself if it doesn't suit you afterward.
I will be sorely disappointed if some of the old timers fail to contact me before the contest ends.
Good luck and good mapping.

Assuming I can get the webspace, and assuming I can squeeze in a full compile, AND assuming you're willing to download sven-coop, would you consider doing a critique on a beta/alpha Classic?

I can still help if anyone wants HL1 feedback  And obviously HL2...
I don't really have the time for mapping at the moment, so lending a hand to others would make me feel like i'm doing something mapping-wise
Anyone is welcome to give me a holler.

just in case this has slipped your minds folks.. (mostly the new members)
we who critique maps, we do not just go get maps to do. if you do not personally request our services, we won't do one.
we learned a long time ago not to randomly critique maps, in spite of the fact that people claim they want feedback when they post their maps. for some reason, a full blown critique causes angry responses.
so if you are waiting for one of us to just grab your map and run with it.. you are wasting your time.
none of us will just "do" a critique.
/ 2 cents

due to time constraints with my job, you might consider multiple members to get your critique from as i may not be able to get to it soonish.
also, be sure "how" you want it posted, either public in the forums or private in the PM's
public will get you more feedback, private is harder cause you cannot edit mistakes once sent. but they are possible, if you first send it to yourself.
also, include the link to said map, or be clear where or which email you sent it to.

The reason I haven't asked for any more critiques is because the map
isn't ready for them yet (which also means it isn't going to the
contest unfortunately  ). I'm still going to finish and release the
map, so in a few weeks it will probably be needing the good old testing
phase.

I would ask for critiques, but I don't have an actual map for people to critique yet. Joy.

I personally can only do HL2 maps people, if you need other mods, you need to specifically inquire with the others doing critiques.
Also, i am doing some critiques today, 2 so far.. 1 is complete and the second is underway as I type. If someone else asked yesterday and I accidentally deleted your PM, please resend it.
I am currently working on "DM_Hydro" .. "DM_Abandoned" is up in the maps forums.
be good.

At the risk of alienating a whole bunch of people - i'd rather give feedback on 'proper' maps than glorified killboxes. I don't know how many variations there have been made of 'Iceworld' but bear in mind that the original was nothing special. I don't understand how it could have gotten so many people rebuilding the exact same map over and over
Give me something with meat on them there bones

Critiques are time consuming, so I cannot make any promises. I will however do any/all I receive that are HL2, assuming I can.
I had to decline one already, cause it was the biggest map I have ever seen, and my comp stuttered while attempting to look at some of the views.
My liking or disliking you will not be a consideration. If I accept/decline the request, it won't be for that reason. All my critiques are 100% fair.
On a personal note, I would like to read all critiques public and private, so if you do one point me in its direction or forward it to me via PM.
/me is off to bed..
be good
