That's right, a mapper's mod. You know - where you give weapon
animation to all viable npcs (so you can have combine elite's with
magnums or - if you prefer - eli limping around with a shotgun), fixing
up the buggy ones (npc_stalker, shield scanners, those big fish things, combine snipers)
and numerous tweaks here and there (to allow rebels to drive the dune
buggies, fixed alyxpistol and annabelle etc). Running around with a flame thrower would be fun as well, I would imagine.

Some new props and textures (maybe even the cstrike weapons) wouldn't hurt either

Wouldn't that be ace? (hint hint?)

Sadly I can't code (for various reasons) and I can't model either (XSI

pain in the arse - especially with a scroll wheel mouse). I'm

planning on asking around but I highly, highly doubt that anyone is
likely to listen to a 13 year old.

Any takers?

With my own HL2 DM projects, the mosaic, Rogue Threat even I am pressed
for time. Its a sound idea though, sounds kind of like that MOD
that had all that extra stuff in it (only that MOD was way over kill,
it super saturated all the HL2 levels with extra usless stuff)

If your really seriouse though your going to need a web site and some solid consept stuff.

yeah, substance. It was too over done, they just put as much
random crap into the maps as they could, like the combine killing
random people in the train station...

snarkpit community would take it on and make their own mod? Let's face

Yeah, its a nice idea but doubt anything will come of it. The map
mosaic is a community project I've spred over 3 sites and only requires
a tiny map, any still there are only a handfull of people who signed
up. I dont think you could get a community wide MOD with mappers,
coders, and artist to work together on this.

but you never know...
