AH-HA.

so it was eve who made the worlds 1st wonderbra.

no cleavage here, but as soon as the fig leaves are on here, there is a noticable difference.

hats off to eve for making the world a better place

it started with duplo, then it was lego, and then it was a mixture of lego and technics. it ended with me and my bro competing for making the strongest car. the "sides" of the car were fortified with vertically attached pieces, connected via those black pins that you could insert in the holes in the techincs bricks. me and my bro then pushed the cars colliding, and the car that still had 4 wheels and a driver attached would win.

who's from denmark here ? there's a gigantic lego city over there, no ?

ps: maybe an idea for a fanatic: you could make a lego map using those monochrome textures, with the typical figures and such

There is a Battlefield 1942 mod based around Lego I believe, pretty sure I read about it in a PC mag a while back.

Building a pc is just like lego, when i went to my introductory day at my 6th form college, the teacher that i spoke to said that building a pc is just like lego. Apart from when it all goes wrong.
Thats when you find out you ran outa them damn right angle blocks or the single blocks that hold the glowing sticks whilst building your monster creation!

I remember lep built this massive space ship, was seriously huge and had inside and everything, and I built a little fighter... He smashed my fighter by sitting on it so I threw his giant spaceship on the floor when he wasn't at home

Matt- thats all the Lego you had? Me and lep had like 2 under beds full of lego, and drawers of it!

bwahahaha!

And Blister: I used to do the exact same thing with my friends, but I found the best design to be a squarish rectangle box built solidly with those big 2x4 bricks and having inset wheels. To top it off I would build one block sticking out like a spike to be used as a battering ram. If you build it right the ram will be supported by the whole structure of the car and won't come off. The plastic'll break before it gets knocked loose. BTW I was undefeated in competition.

hehe i guess its a sort of natural evolution, cause my final car was somewhat like you describe it, and was also an undefeated champion. i didnt have the battering ram though, i just had the flat front wall. and i used the 1x.. technics bricks, cause they were the only one with holes in. but tbh i think it would win against yours cause i had the vertically attached fortification bricks  . We stepped off of battering rams cause the plastic simply couldnt withstand the impact force. it was becoming frustrating to see there weren't many undeformed bricks left if we wanted to build a new car.

That son of a bitch took apart a les paul to make that?

Thats cool and all ... but jesus. Even if it was an Epifone Les Paul that would be expensive.

probably easy enough to pick up a busted guitar, and use the bits from that.

i'd be a lot more impressed if he'd went to the trouble of making it playable though.

You can't ... the legos would snap.
The amount of tension from guitar strings (that are tuned) is well ... a lot of force.

I mean, on a real guitar there's a wish bone (I believe its called) in the neck of the guitar to keep the strings from bending the neck.

He's still a bastard if he took apart a Les Paul

They're beautiful expensive guitars, Epiphone versions start at like 300 bucks. The real deals (Gibson) start at well over 1000.

Probably ... 564 pounds (Epiphone) and 1880 pounds (Gibson)

even with the tension of the strings, some of those new fangled tecnix bits that have been mentioned, the ones with the holes, could have titanium rods inserted through them down the length of the neck and into the body. shortening the neck a little from the standard length would help too. and with lightest guage strings you'd be strumming away like something out of deliverance in no time.

well, maybe not.

Back on the Lego thing, i've used american lego (one of the richer

another lego fact!

British Lego, is different in its "slot togetherness" factor, to American Lego!

The little "o" rivet style things are larger on american lego, not
quite Duplo territory, but slightly larger  You can actually join
british and american lego together, but they're pretty difficult to
take apart again..

I recall also the american lego sets feature certain bricks that we don't, but don't quote me on that.

I remember when I was younger I was upset that I couldn't get the Voltron "toys". They were expensive, being made of metal and all.

I guess they're planning on making new ones that are better then the old ones ... is that possible?
