Starlabs is my special project, my little love.

For more information about Starlabs you should really visit the website. What I will give, is some background information.

The idea for Starlabs was conceived in the summer of 2002 during a trip to Sydney, Australia. Soon thereafter, I started 'production' and quickly I had written down a story, created a website and released some media. Eversince, Starlabs has undergone quite a few phases, all improving it one step at a time. The most important phase was the decision to rebuilt everything that had been built after 18 months of production. Though the process was time consuming, it was definitely worth the effort.

Right now, Starlabs is scheduled for a summer release, hopefully on my birthday. (Which, for you curious folk, is on the 13th of August.. ;) Right now, it seems that Starlabs should be done by then...

Half-Life: Deathmatch Theop

This level is my first differnt one.

the map is a square box, textured in black, the only thing u can see is the white weapon pedastol thing in the middle.
once the weapon (glueongun) is picked up 2 white walls pop up out the ground that should in theory make the other 3 players easy to spot. when the walls are down it should be fairly difficut. so the person with the big gun will get the points,.

the level is also a strict 4 player,.

also i would like some coments on it please., if you like the idea etc.

Ok I'm going to make this a haunted house with low lighting with interactive stuff like rotating bookcases and I would like some feedbacks regarding ideas for the map

UPDATE:

added more interiors, better lighting
Increased wall realism with decals
added more props
added a balcony

Good shootum up map. Galil and Famos guns only. No Dam Awp learn how to use small guns. Lots of fun good graphics, setup for 20 players. Have fun.

Medium map where the good weapons are up high and the ammo is down low, you have to run around as there are no places to hide. good for non stop fragging.

My map for the compo, it's flat-shaded/fullbright because I don't have HL1 OR HL2... yet. But someday I shall and then it won't look quite so strange.

Pic 1 - Ground floor, the red part will be glass or something.
Pic 2 - Second floor (obviously).
Pic 3 - Flying bell towers that will spread fire from their hindquarters.

Hybrid Theory is a single-player modification that bears resemblance to both Resident Evil and They Hunger. You'll be a police officer who goes in to investigate... stuff.
I don't think this will come to light outside of an open-source package, and since I'm feverishly working my open-source (and some new stuff) into a horrible HL1 mappack, you won't be able to get the source until the mappack's released.

Well, here's a beta of the map, some of the rooms will be darker as they're unfinished. Anyway, enjoy, hopefully. You can't play multi-player yet either since I haven't decided which gameplay route I want to take (objectives like defusing a bomb or just plain-'ol killin'.)

The team discodown relates to a night club offerly set in the city. So what better place to play dm in with the clubbers and drinkers and dancing on the dance floor. Or going crazy in pitch black outside in the city so the sky is rather important to give good atosmosphere. Put all the sky images in the gfx/env folder.

Wow look at those towering heights that would hurt if you took a wrong step. On this map was really the setup of the challege to get the king of guns the egon. But hey it will take skill getting up there before you get shot on the way up with that rpg or shot on the elevator.
