Map Description

Released: July 2001

My largest released map to date and also (of my releases thus far) the most complex. Layout is a bit too loopy, but architecturally I think I got a pretty good recreation of the original Black Mesa feel.

Was magically fixed 30mins before you posted Nib :p

Everything else is still broken.

Sometimes we gets maps listed under the wrong game and users tell me they didn't know we had their game listed.
Yes, it would be really great if this gets fixed. Right now it's just the newest game at the bottom, and the oldest one added at the top.

I think this has been discussed before as well.

That's a good catch Tnk, Worth looking into to get fixed.

And yea, Nib, that's why it shows up like that. I would agree though, it feels like a bug because it was an oversight. We should probably make it so that if a game has less than 10 maps for it, regardless of their rating, those maps should cycle on the maps page if that game is a featured game. and then also, since we don't have many maps rated, perhaps we should lower the shown ratings to 3-5 instead of just the 4 & 5 rated maps.

And while I'm at it, there's two things I'd liked fixed hehe :hee:

[*]This is for admins: When selecting the order of featured games for the maps landing page, (the "up/down" options). They don't work like they're supposed to most of the time. Depends which ones you select but no matter how long you play around with it, there are some combinations which are just impossible. It's like a little puzzle.

Hopefully these are issues that can be fixed easily. I understand you're especially busy this time of year larchy. :D

In the "Maps" section of the site, under Left 4 Dead 2 there is only Tower - Survival, and not my map next to it, Ladenisty - Survival.

Edit: It seems it does only show maps with a 4 or 5 star rating (as I heard from Riven).

I've just found a little bug thanks to SamCom and his map "A Brief Detour":

I just noticed, after I added a comment, it says I posted it at 10:30am, however it's 11:30am in Melbourne. I've checked the control panel and in the settings I do have it set in Australian Eastern Time which is appropriate timezone for Melbourne. I'm thinking, it's probably to do with daylight savings, but thought I'd just let you know because it's incorrect.

Prolly posted already but, the search feature doesn't work very well. At least not as well as it once did.

I typed in "recently read" a forum title and it couldn't find it. I had to seek it out manually... Snarkpit is to large to seek things out manually.

and

The "whos online" needs to be by registration date. :hee:

I made a small change as you would need over 100 for the country flag - set it to be 100 or more which is what it's labelled as I think.

If anyone has any ideas for any more things like this then by all means float the idea. If I can find the time I don't mind implementing anything reasonable.

Ok it's fine now, I hope no one else will have the same problem.

Will there be more unlocks in the future?
I was thinking of making a thread called "Post your unlock ideas"

I got 100 Snarkmarks now (just noticed lol) but I can't setup my country flag yet.

It still shows me this: Earn 100 snarkmarks to select a country flag!

Maybe I got something like 99,7 Snarkmarks?
