Yea, it's a very cool town, I visited it this summer, in fact I was thinking of making a level based off of it, but as you said the bildings are much more cramped. Also, it's out on the water, and I'm sure youcan fiind pictures where you can see it's unique "U" shape. There's a dock that juts out creating a little cove. It's a really awesome town, but yeah, I don't think this level looks much like it.

I agree. About the map, I have to hate it because it looks a lot like the map I've been working on lately, only better. But maybe that's because I've still got void as a wall throughout a lot of the town... even so, nice work you bastard.

Seconded. None of it made me laugh (and yes, I am the arbiter of all humour), except for Dave's comment.

Now, isn't this a map thread?

Put yourself in my shoes. Now think about it.
Why are you getting so offended by mundane responses as, "That's what makes it so funny"?

I mean, crapper-on-a-stick, man. If that is so 'harsh' and 'offensive', you need to maybe not take it personally. Its a joke. Everyone gets playfully made fun of.
You're no exclusion, Blue. And no, I wasn't being serious.

But that doesn't stop anyone from going into pouting mode.

The map looks fine. Post pictures of other areas.

The only thing I plan on changing at the moment would be giving it more life with spectators and advertisements.

Here is a few shots from other areas, this first one is a fairly old
shot. When it's done the trees won't be growing out of cement and they
also won't be as empty. These are also from the city section, which
only counts for about half of the map.

Oh, and these pics have the older uglier skybox.

I'll try and get a few pics of the areas outside the city soon.

Pic 1: Methinks you better do something about that turn behind the red car, or else players will just chop it in half

Edit: After looking at screen 4, that has got to be my faveorite. High complexity for a race track, but looks great.
