OK I've uploaded a picture of myself.

the gallery needs formatted to fit 1024x768, or some size.. there is a lot of dead space on the left.. would go a long ways to removing the annoying side scroll.

Perhaps all pictures should be say X by Y pixels and have it tabuled, thus removing the scrole problem you describe.

Some continuity is what I mean. It doesn't look to bad though.

Gah. I changed it. We took that pic because it's one of our friends birthdays coming up soon and we didn't know what to get 'em. So we made something. Kinda. And for another website, but that's an even longer story.

Aah but Orph, the webcam has the advantage of blurring all your movenents leading to enthralling kung fu fights for years to come.

the odd thing i have noticed is, statistically speaking, it should be very common to run into someone from your own state, but in 5 years of HL, i have met only one, right here at snarkpit, i find that extremely odd..

I think more likely, you have run into many more, but didn't know it. I mean, without lame a/s/l checks every five minutes, how would you know where your opponents in an hldm server, for example, come from? Well, I guess you could type status in the console and work it out from their ips, but that's borderline creepy.

Leperous, I think you should remove the photos that are not really their personal photos... kind of contaminates the whole purpose of the gallery. If they don't want to post actual pictures of themselves, then so be it.

I wonder if my dwarf picture is still kicking around on my hard drive.

But you can never be 100% sure that the photos aren't their own

The ones like Vash, where it's a cartoon, should be obvious enough..

I don't know why, but that pic of you (gollum) always cracks me up.

Unfortunately for my sanity, that pic of gollum looks very much to me like he is eating or spitting out...something that he should not be. This was probably the intention, and I hate you for it :razz:

A nice little comparison Cassius, but bear in mind my picture wasn't artfully posed with nice orange light to tan my skin, nor do I bother styling my hair :razz:

seriously tho, privacy aside, if you don't want a real pic, thats perfectly fine, but for gallery reasons, or at least this topic reasons, any donations must be real ones, even if they are acquired from www.uglypeople.com photo's

I'll take my blood gnome down so, if you want to keep it pure.

..err I can't find a way to take my pic down. I could just upload a 1x1 black dot but that seems a bit unnecessary. I'll just wait till it's fixed or someone shows me how. :smile:

go to PFL2 and get your other pic and upload it dave..

might get one with deermud :smile: that other one is like 3 years old now lol

Orange light wasn't on purpose buddy boy, especially not to tan myself I'm very anti-tan; my brother and myself much prefer to have very... uh... 'fair' skin, shall we say, and very dark hair; thus creating a very vampiric look.
