the 1st pic she looks like some sort of freak. her head looks too big, and like it should roll around the same as one of those toy dogs that got banned from the parcel shelves in cars.

2nd pic looks a lot like demi moore..... could be the jawline, but still, if she looks like demi from some angles, she must have something going for her.

I liked Event Horizon, and remember liking Mortal Kombat (haven't seen
it in years though, I may hate it nowadays), but Resident Evil was pure
bollocks in my opinion, and I'm afraid he might turn AVP into another
Resident Evil. He claims to be a huge fan of the Alien and Predator
movies, so I hope he knows what he's doing.

He also clamed to be a huge fan of the Resi games and look what he did to that.

What, turn it into a good film?

Seriously though, Keira Knightley > Demi Moore, by an extent that a small ascii arrow simply cannot represent.

I watched King Arthor last night and thourght that it was a good film
it was better than I expected cos the last few times that holywood has
taken a british legend like Braveheart and Robin Hood I was quite
dissaponted. Especially with Robin Hood cos that one I hold dear to my
heart being a Nottinghamian.

But I thourght that this one was really well done and they didnt ruin
it its not the legend that we all know but thats cos they found some
more archiolagy to suggest that this is what he was more like bit I
really enjoyed it especially when you get to see Keira Knightlys leg
sorry but she is very beutifull.

Gimp, its not a Hollywood film apparently. I saw an interview with one of the cast with Jonathon Ross, and he said at long last its a British story with British cast and British crew.

I asumed it was with it being a Jerry Bruckheimer film.

I knew most of the main cast was British but I didnt know that they all were and that it was a British crew as well

the most enjoyable movie i've seen recently must be the ladykillers. the 1st 15-20 mins had me howling. the bit with the dog is classic. i'm laughing just thinking about it.

hidalgo was a good one too. and i was even more impressed when i found it was based on a true story. i dont think i'd ever even heard of frank hopkins, but his name should be up there with the best known of any of the famous cowboy types. damn, the guy should probably be made an american national hero, with his very own holiday.

I liked the original Ladykillers but I havent seen the new one yet.

Im looking forward to The Bourne Supremecy cos that looks like a good
film and hopefully they wont kill it like they have a tendency to do
with sequels.

I'm fairly sure it was more Bruckheimer was using his clout to get the movie made than that he was directly involved in the day to day creation of the film. They tossed his name in the trailers in hopes it would draw more people to the theaters.

I went to go see The Villiage last night. It's not worth it, IMO. It's not scary, at all, ever, it's not very thought-provoking, the acting is almost all wooden delivery of want-to-be "deep" lines, and I had the "twist" figgured out in the first 20 min.

The actual quality of the film (costumes, sets, lighting, etc.) is very, very good though. But the content of the visuals is so beyond lacking.

It felt like the entire movie was building up to something that it could never achieve- although you could tell it wanted to very badly. Towards the end they keep trying to pull the rug out from under you, but towards no ultimate goal- the end result is pretty much the same as what they want you to expect, if that makes any sense at all.

My two cents. Not worth it.

I don't wholly agree with that, Crono. The 6th Sense at least has an atmosphere of creepyness, I suppose. Unbreakable wasn't the worst movie ever, it was at least intersting to me. Signs was pretty crappy, the logic behind the whole "swing away" bit was just offensive to me. I know the movie tried to focus on unintentional foreshadowing/coincidences in life, but that's a bit of a stretch for me.

This one just looked pretty. It had a nice environment built up in theory. I can imagine a very creepy experience coming from an isolated villiage surrounded by woods, cut off from all other societies, with beasts skulking around the outskirts. A good premise, but it doesn't hold at all in the film.

I'm a writer at heart, and as such I can really easily put myself into most situations and get inside characters heads, and can feel what they feel. In other words, it's hard for me NOT to get drawn into films and books. Now, I'm not saying that everyone should do this and judge his other films accordingly- but I could get into them, and I felt weirded out for a while when I was in them. This one is just a pile of drivel- even if you DO get into it it'll just shove you out with bizzare "twists" that don't make much sense. The other movies don't do this as badly.

Blargh.

Unbreakable was his best movie. The ending was just a little short shot. Signs most definatly blew. And the 6th sense was entertaining ... once and only once.

I think he's getting worse as he goes. When you stoop to having a fake interview which is trying to be 'creepy' as a special on TV to pimp your new movie, which obviously sucks, is just a new low.

Saw King Arthur tonight, not bad but not great. I agree with whoever said it was trying to be an epic but simply failed. It didn't feel like a grand scale movie such as Troy or Gladiator at all. That said, it was entertaining, and it featured "teh hotie!!!1" Keira Knightley (albeit looking like a zombie for her introduction to the film) so it was probably worth watching. The fight on the ice was exciting and impressive, but most of the other battles were lacking, and the entire film didn't have enough momentous battles. The final fight didn't seem like it should be the end at all, I expected at least one more afterwards.

Meh, I tend to like most films, I enjoyed it despite its shortcomings.
