Hey, I've had the alias Thursday- for 3 years and I feel its a bit boring

So I'm wondering if anyone has sensible suggestions on a new one. Thanks.

aliases are not something to be changed lightly.. i am sure friday and wednesday have no issues with you retaining your current title.. but more important are you willing to swap your 300's member number for one in the 8 or 900's?

names, fit the owner, and cannot be bestowed by outsiders.

Yeah I know, I'm not changing it in the communities/forums I'm in, but more in-game.

Uhh....moving swiftly on. Just pick two random words and stick em together.

I would avoid the following words though:

King

Hack

Killer

1337 (its not even a word, but avoid that number)

Doom

Death

Destruction

Zero

Alpha

Omega

Osama

Or anything else a pretentious 12 year old kid would come up with. Cool
nicks generally sound wierd, as opposed the the pretentious-elite nicks
which make most people cringe.

Flamboyant-Biscuit

Theres one to start you off. Or a vague reference to some kind of 'in' joke that only you and a handful of people would get.

Don'y hyphenate, at least not in half - life anyway. it looks like you
can't be bothered to stick " " around the name, which allows you to use
spaces!

also, it's bad use of the hyphen! normal spaces are your friend!

I've been playing in a CS:S server run by the clan [FUR] lately, and I've seen 2 of its members in there so far...

[FUR] Furious Ferret

[FUR] Enraged Stoat

With names like that, I'm tempted to join up myself

as for your alias, historical figures/events are always good for
whoring, as is Latin, or greek mythology. rip those things apart!

a) Does it matter, and b) anyone can have their name changed now easily by us admin-types...
a) most emphatically, and b) i'd assumed as much

but lets pretend there is a world outside snarkpit for a second

nicknames are very hard to come by, yeah you can get stuck with one easy enough, but choosing one that suits you is very hard.

my nickname has been with me for 20 some years,i wouldn't change it for anything.

me wonders if the same can be said for most of this sites memberbase :

It is because im special. Well no, I signed up to some forum ages ago
and "Thursday" was taken and had only logged in once out of the 6
months he/she had, had the account for. So I just added the "-" on the
end and its stuck.

BTW I named myself after my favourite band, although the day is cool too.

I think you should come up with a nick yourself. And don't use a whole
sentence as your nick, like "<| I'm the ub3r guy | Sorry palz for
kickin you today, srry  | I like CS | Cu guys tomorrow| etc...
|>", you know what I mean  .

Perhaps use something close to your real name? Like me, real name Osman, nickname OtZman. What's your real name?

Just imagine all these names durring gameplay:

"Johnny" has been killed by "Savage Diarrhoea".

Or,

"Savage Diarrhoea" is on a killing spree.

You know, if you're really good you could just make your name "a pussy". So, whomever you kill was killed by a pussy.

Well it is the numbers in my e-mail adress, and most places I log onto already have Omegaslayer registered, so I add the numbers to login.
