Only mildly humourous one I can think of off the top of my head is a
guy I know called "Sandy Beveridge", but the novelty of that name wares
off after hearing it a couple of times

personally, i have always found the "Sur" names of the world to be a bit strange, at least the less common ones. in fact, if i didn't have mine, i'd never have chosen it. :/

the worse Surname combination i know of is my nephew, his last name is "Davidson" two guesses what his first name is.

hmm, perhaps its the generational gap. my generation just loves to do strange things with names. my nephew is indeed named Harley Davidson, i detest it personally. i figured that children have a tough enough time at school without the stigma of a name thats weird.

the harley is a very common motor cycle and i just new the word "broaden" would have pegged it, since most of those bikes have a broad on the back seat

anyways, i never would have figured it would have took more than half a guess, let alone 3 or 4 :/

As a joke, I like to tell people that I am "Reid 4.0" because I am the final version my parents produced, and therefore, perfect. All my siblings have flaws. My brothers are too short, my sister is, um... female, whereas I lack these deficiencies.

The only weird name I know is my own, which is quite alien even in its
land of origin. Annoying really, I missed out on the whole
"personalised mugs/keyrings" etc that my 4 siblings enjoyed.

I'm not bitter.

Well, It is by coincidence that i have a relative named "Gwilym Paull" he's welsh. ( i know it's also spelt "Gwillym" and other ways too)

There was a place in London called "Balls Brothers"
Then there's the tube station named "St. John's Wood."
