as well as the original Blues Brothers movie soundtrack albumn for 10 bucks in a bargain bin, some awesome stuff on that one too.
I can't get over how awesome the new Coldplay albumTrue ... I think this album might outrun "A Rush Of Blood ..." in the charts.
is- to me, so far, it's perfect, nice selection of both beautiful and
anthemic songs ('Til Kingdom Come' will be a sure-fire lady-winner on
the old acoustic, and the moment 'Fix You' kicks in... oh my
god!)
Though I haven't bought it yet (if only I had money  ),This post finally got me off my ass to pick up I Am The Movie. Awesome CD. Can't wait to snag the new one.
these four streaming
tracks make me want the new Motion City Soundtrack album very
very much. Hugely upbeat and danceable pop rock with a bit of the
familiar synth in the background that fans of The Get Up Kids, The
Anniversary and Koufax will appreciate. It really strikes me as
universally likeable - I just don't see anything about this music that
people wouldn't like. If you like any sort of rock music, its
well worth a listen.
Chili Peppers are maing a new album. w00t.Any idea what it's called?
Err I meant Matchbook RomanceWould that be stories and alibies?
I hate Green Day. I'm gonna go on a little rant here...Not to be offensive, but just because you recently discovered Led
There are so many people that like bands like Green Day or Good
Charlotte or Simple Plan or any rap or hip-hop artist. It just
aggrivates me. If you watch/listen to them live, they suck hard,
and that means they aren't good musicians.
Green Day - the guy can barely play guitar when you hear them live
Good Charlotte - nobody can do anything in that band
Simple Plan - The lead singer can whine and that's about it
Any rap or hip-hop artist - Can't go on without 5 billion backup singers to hide the fact that they can't sing.
New music like this annoys me. People say stuff like "oh I'm so
gald I listen to real music like beyonce" or crap like that. I
wish people would finally figure out which bands are real musicians who
write their own stuff.
Anyways, got some Coldplay, they kick ass.
Its kinda a watch&listen but the new video for Wake Me Up WhenThat video is the single worst music video ever. It's so god-damned
September Ends by Green Day kills me, it really fits in with the music

i was drunk and blind at the time please ignore the rather over the top remark that it "kills me" lol, it is rather average. Its kinda a watch&listen but the new video for Wake Me Up WhenThat video is the single worst music video ever. It's so god-damned

overblown; Green Day have really lost the bloody plot. When you make a
music video, please, for the love of GOD, don't try to turn it into a
mini-epic teenage soap opera (a BAD one at that). The album is good,
but Green Day's new found overbloated ego is unbareable.
I'm just saying that bands like Good Charlotte, and pretty much everyThat isn't what I'm arguing about; I could care less what you thought
rap and hip-hop artist is not a real musician. I'm not saying I'm
throwing my opinion around like it's gospel. It's my opinion and
I feel very strongly about it.
"
Not to be offensive, but just because you recently discovered Led
Zeppelin doesn't mean you have to go off on bands like Green Day or
even entire genres like Rap or Hip-hop."
I didn't formulate this opinion because I recently discovered
Zeppelin. I've always thought this while I was brought up
listening to real music like a lot of jazz and beatles. Music by
real musicians who were talented and could write their own music and
play their own instruments.
I cannot appreciate any rap or hip-hop or stuff from bands like the
ones I said because I can't say "wow that's a good song of theirs" when
they can't perform it or didn't write it or don't sing it. That's
another reason I don't like rap. I would always listen to someone
who has vocal abilities who can sing amazingly as opposed to a rapper
who talks fast and rhymes biatch with biatch.
Because of these reasons, I started listening to older stuff like
Zeppelin and AC/DC and the Doors and Jimi Hendrix. All of whom
are real musicians. If you asked them to improvise, they'd be
able to do it. Take Led Zeppelin, they hardly ever played their
songs the same way twice because they were real musicians who could
improvise because they new their instruments inside and out, as opposed
to Good Charlotte who got famous saying crap like "Girls don't like
boys girls like cars and money"
I have no respect for rappers, hip-hop artists, or new "rock" bands. I'm sorry if you disagree but that is my opinion.
Music byErrr, Green Day and Good Charlotte do write their own songs. And don't
real musicians who were talented and could write their own music and
play their own instruments.
if you play music and write musicIt is, a band no matter how heard of or unheard of who writes their own
