The best things in life, aren't things.

This isn't a funny picture. But it's still my favorite. It
was taken last year at my team's annual lake swim. That's me
jumping.

Just a warning, it's 1600x1200 and ~450 kb.

Its very green because it's the green mountain state. That picture was taken in Vermont, where I go to school.

Moneyshot...that is funny....I was thinking the EXACT same thing. I thought it looked like a picture from right around here (in Washington!)

I must agree. Im 34 and find it disturbing, heck even the duck has a bigger penis than I.. thats just sad. ( some comments were made as comedy and are not true in any sense. ) Can we get these images removed and maybe a link to them with a Disclaimer added.. "These images are of an adult nature and should only be view by persons over 18."

I love the Star Wars Pope doing the choke hold.. thats great. I also like the Orinetals boobies.. very firm, I would rather squeeze, then poke my melons for freshness.

The Hippo eating the dwarf would be funny had it not been true.. poor hippo. Never had meat before, and now a whole midget in one gulp. He must be so ashamed and having to turn in his Vegitarian card.. the disgrace of it all.

Don't get me wrong, I found nothing wrong with any of the pics, but Snarkpit has a standard to uphold. One I agree with.

Its not an offensive image, its just one a tad above the base level minor.

And Orph is right, the Pit has a standerd to uphold. I was trying to post a way to have the images still.. the other choice is not to at all. Well im sure when LEP or Reno log on and see them they will make the call, after all its there web space.

The first two and the last ones aren't supposed to be funny. The
first one just looks amazing with the color and the fire and the embers
and the fact that those firefighters put their lives on the line out
there (I want to be a volunteer firefighter -- if you couldn't tell).

The second picture is a concept for some sort of bridge that's supposed
to be the biggest / longest in the world. I forget what its
supposed to be connecting.

The last one is just cool if you went through the blackout a couple
years ago. It reminds me of a satellite image of North Korea I
saw once, except NK was mostly black.

I thought the forest fire one was suppose to be funny because it looks like the firefighter on the left farted and started a forest fire.

I tell jokes all the time that have black people in them. I do not tell racist jokes. There is a distinct difference.

Dark humor is tasteless humor. It, for the most part is generalizations. The "Owned" picture is specific.

Please explain to me how it should be allowed, or better yet, inform me how I was OTT?

Two things I never do, nor can you say otherwise. I never make jokes involving people with downs, nor do I make racist jokes.

Can I expect it from others? Yes. Is it realistic to expect it from others. No.

Allow me to rephrase my earlier comment. I find the picture insulting. I am asking for its removal, just as if someone else was insulted by something.

(within reason of course, some find corn on the cob highly yukky)

Well then the kid pissing on the soldier should be removed as well.. reguardless of what army he is in.. as a former soldier I find that insulting.

The Chicken Joke was Very funny.. as was the robber story in ther paper. I also got a kick out of the bull.. man I would hate to be the guy with the camera. I happen to own the Shirt in the first picture... my wife hates it. The Distraction picture is very cute.. I think her name is Brittney Williams.

I have seen that sign before, I think it was in New Mexico. =) The Monitor on the copy machine was on a blonde joke site.. and if you had included that it may of been a bit funnier.

But Yeah Orph I see your point about the OWNED image.. it is rather tasteless and should be only allowed on Triple K sites and the like.. not here. It breeds hate, and we dont need that here.

I am no prude. I found the kid peeing funny as hell. Especially when it has almost happened to me once.

BUT, if it were truly insulting to you, I would support you in its removal. I would not agree, but would accept.

There is only one way to view the "owned" pic. I am sorry but its true. :/

I agree about the owned pic - I know its posted in good humour but it
really is a bit distasteful. I've edited it out. I can't say I see much
insult in the kid pissing on the soldier though, I think its a
humourous situation regardless of the target :biggrin:

I think the motorcycle T-Shirt is tasteless. It is offensive to women.

I think the Bush picture is tasteless and offensive because he is a president and we shouldn't make fun of him.

The round like a shot newspaper article is tasteless because it makes cops look bad, which they aren't. They are the best people in the world. Cops don't do anything bad.

The squirrel billboard is completely awful and should be banned from the Internet. Someone should contact PETA.
