Name it Cerberus. Or Roflcopter. Those are my top two picks... or Chewbacca... Or you could go to one of those baby name sites and browse until you find a name that catches your eye.
EDIT:
I hadn't seen your post when I suggested Chewbacca, I think something about that dog says "wookiee"

I should start a campaign against over-used pet names. I've literally known at least five dogs named "Lucky," and at least three pets named "Chance" or something similar. You should name it Snark... or G.I. Joe.
EDIT:
Or Ninja. Ninjas wear black and the dog is black.

I love those kind of dogs. The only problem is their coat gets very thin.
Norse names are always badass.
Valkyrie (a group, but could work as a name easily. Or "Val")
Freya (Goddess of fertility and love ... who was also a bouncer for Odin) It can also be spelt Freyja, I believe
Beyla
Eisa
You can also go with apocalyptic names like "Ragnarok" or "Gotterdammerung".
Also, Cerean, is another Wookie, just not in the movies. I can't think of other wookie names, though. And it isn't a good name.
Blame it on Microsoft, God does.

Call it Rasta. Best dog name ever. Then you can do what we did to my friends dog and get it one of those hats with dreads sewn onto it.
Badass.

You should tack "Evil Countess" on the front of whatever name you choose and then when someone calls her by just the name you can tell them sternly, "you shall address Her Ladyship as 'Evil Countess <name>'!"
... that's what I would do anyway...
On an unrelated note, I looked at the most popular names from 2005 (presumably in the US), some of the top male names:
1 - Aidan
2 - Caden
5 - Brayden
6 - Hayden
8 - Jaden
I'm gonna go cry now :'(

maybe it already has a name that it likes. i got my dog from a rescue shelter about 8 years ago, and he was quite old even then. the shelter had no info on the dog, so i sat for a night with him, going over various names and consonant/vowel variations, looking for some sort of reaction from him. we eventually settled on gus.

Ah okay. I think Sambo is pretty cool.
Whenever I hear about naming dogs, I can't help but think about this one story I heard about people whose dogs were so misbehaved the dogs thought their names were actually "bad dog!" since their owners said that all the time.
