Drinking in smaller amounts is okay, but getting drunk is very bad for you. While Satchmo, being a good doctor, can tell you all the health reasons, I'm sure Asterix and I are quoting from more of a religious source. However, if you ever think that getting drunk is okay, you need to look at what happened to this girl when some dumb bass decided to have "fun" and be rebellious and go drinking and driving.

Funny Drinking Story (not really...)

Oh f**k off Nickel, that's gross, at least put a disclaimer.

And sending someone on a guilt trip to discourage someone from doing something is low. I've been drunk, had my fun, and I don't need to see crap like that to tell me not to.

not to start a debat (well really I AM trying to do just that, just dont tell anyone) but anything can be done iresponsibly, drinking as I see it is just a scape goat for naturally irrisonsible people.

I've never been so drunk that my better judgment isn't still with me, and belive me I have tryed to find out what thats like.

As for the health risks... so what, butter is less healthy than lard.

Frenchy ruined it. It's GOATSE!!!! nah j/k

It's actually pictures of a (rather attractive) teenage girl before she got hit by a drunk driver, and pictures of her after. She lived through the incident, but is very misfigured.

The page is a picture of a nice-looking girl before an accident, and then a picture of her with burn-scars all over after some drunk driver hit her.

Fact is, there IS no "responsible drunk" because by getting drunk, you've already exceeded the limit that is set by your body that tells you when you will start endangering yourself.

Well, I see where Nickelplate is coming from when he says getting drunk is always being irresponsible. Drunk driving is just more so.

I know I have impaired judgement when I drink, but I do it anyway. Not quite rational, but enjoyable. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make.
