Ya, funny shit.

Does anyone know if they managed to beat CNN and Koucher to the 1,000,000 for twitter subscribers? That was a good cause.

Edit: what is wrong with this post?

Reality has become a commodity.

Hah, I can't believe they pulled it off, they reset his votes at least once.

Awwwww, so cute!

They failed miserably.

that is a very cool video.. too bad it looks rigged. A prop or FX was used.

Yea, now that you said it. Only the sound made me have doubts at first, but now I see a facial kinda shape that seems to indeed be fake. Top-notch FX, though.

Guys, you HAVE to play "Enviro-Brear 2000". This is the funniest shit I've come across all week: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=4964.0

Sit through the fist 25 sec at least. I find this hilarious, you might as well.

I just found out that I can still play a video game for 9 hours straight. I thought I had grown past that part of my life. Fuck you Fallout 3!

Reality has become a commodity.

I recommend Fellout, EW Rain, Mart's Mutant Mod, Wattz Laser weapons, Weapon modkits (and absolute must for scopes/red dot sights/extended magazines/auto fire), More Where That Came From + the track packs... and possibly alos the degradation and 999 weight limit mods.

Valve may actually do it! I think they're going to make either a 10 minute short, or a whole movie, but they're going to do something with the TF2 characters for sure!

That's what everyone wanted after seeing the Meet The Spy Trailer! Including me!
Hmm, Valve seems to be doing alot of things at the same time.

Team Fortress 2 updates
Team Fortress 2 short film
Left 4 Dead 2
Half-Life 2 Episode 3

Hope they schedule it well.

What I found out today:
There are alot of cool Halo 3 ODST Trailers. And other game trailers too offcourse, Assassin's Creed 2, L4D2 etc.

Well there is only one Halo 3 ODST Trailer that I'm aware of, which I'm super excited for. There was also a Halo Reach teaser trailer which is a different and separate game to Halo 3 ODST which is being released this year, Halo Reach is being released later on. Personally, I think both games are going to be great but I'm very interested in Halo Reach, which takes place before the events in Halo 1 obviously on the planet 'Reach' which is where all of the Spartans where being manufactured AND where the covenant first attacked.

In Halo 1, you begin the game as the Chief on the Pillar of Autumn, a ship that just escaped Reach with the only surviving Spartan.

Ok I've watched that one also now.
I've heard before that in one of the books from Halo it says there were around 200 spartans, which all had to get through a hard training. Only one of them survived, which is the Master Chief.

The part in the ODST trailer in the pod looked very awesome btw.

That's right, although I think there was more than 200 Spartans and the book was called "Fall of Reach".

That's why I said around 200

The best things in life, aren't things.

Some guy posts stupid questions on "Yahoo Answers" and shows the answers in his blog. God, it's hilarious.

Oh man, I read through like 10 of them. Hah, I gotta say that was some pretty funny stuff. Although it seems like a lot of people on the internet are smarter than I thought. most of them picked-up on it being a trolling question, but answered anyway after feeling 'compelled to'. Just beautiful. -It made my lunch at work a lot more pleasant. Funny stuff, nice find!

Anybody interested in Valve and/or game development should find this interesting. It's a recent interview with Gabe Newell and various other peeps from Valve on topics including Steam, the creation of Valve studios and community funded games commercial games.

A teaser site for id's new title "Rage" has gone live.

There's virtually no concrete information about gameplay, etc., just a bunch of concept art. But I have to admit, I love it. This could turn out to be my favorite shooter in years and it completely leaves the hyper-realistic warfare, monochromatic style behind. In fact, I wish Valve had the balls to do something as fresh and epic as id is attempting to do with Rage.

http://www.aftertheimpact.com/

... and five minutes later I read this: Rage Details: Regenerating Health, Designed for Controllers...

Yea, that rage game is looking all the better every time I see it. Maybe, there will be some kind of special showing of it over at QuakeCon!

Anyhow, a friend showed me this today, I think it just came out: Tron Legacy!

On a lighter note, guess what Deus Ex creator Warren is doing next:

HaHa , that's too funny. Although, I think the scorpion bear did it for me; lol.

Looks like it will be better thank Kingdom Hearts.

Alright, if you thought Spore's DRM debacle was pathetic, here is a new highlight:

The company that publishes flight simulator X-Plane had a brilliant idea: To address complaints by customers about having to have DVDs in the drive, they offer a $29 (!!!) USB stick that acts as a portable DRM device. Not only could you get another DVD drive for that price (or still have to sacrifice an USB slot), people who aren't as loyal and pirate the game of course do not have to bother with any of this. Multiple layers of failure, that are only topped by the following...

To make things worse, this email-exchange between a fan and the company's CEO, Austin Meyer, ends with the Chief Executive Officer replying this:

holy shit you are an idiot
where did i ever say, imply, or ever so much as HINT that ANYTHING actually WORKS????????????????????????????????????

Wow. It really gives you an insight into the process that leads companies to force more and more ridiculous copyright restrictions down their customers' throats. There is no logic. Just juvenile rage. The CEO of a company, writing like a 13-year old posting on an IMDB-board.
